Abigail's Inn

Abigail's was the perfect B and B for our recent Camden visit. The inn is historic, beautifully decorated, clean, and filled with extra touches. It has a great location just a short walk to the downtown shops, restaurants, and waterfront. The innkeepers were very nice and helpful plus they serve a wonderful breakfast. We loved the grounds and enjoyed meeting the family chickens. We stayed in the Mt Battie room and loved it. It is spacious, well-appointed, and quiet (best of all its in the back of the B and B, close to parking and away from the traffic on Rt 1).

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Abigail's Inn. The property is impeccable, the location excellent and Dave and Stephen were truly gracious hosts. Our very spacious room (we stayed in the Mt. Battie room) was restored and furnished beautifully. The bathroom was also spacious and totally renovated. Towels were thick and of high quality. We slept well and it was great to wake up to freshly brewed coffee left outside of our door. The three course breakfasts were delicious and typically started with a homemade sweet course followed by fresh fruit and ending with a homemade main course utilizing local ingredients. Eating breakfast in the garden area or the beautiful dining room made the experience all the better. The location is great which is important for Camden. It is away from the bustle yet it is only a short 3-5 minute walk to town. Parking is difficult in Camden so being able to walk is an advantage. It is close to the beautiful park which overlooks the harbor, a great place to hang out. When we find ourselves back in Camden, we look forward to staying at Abigail's Inn.

Overall a great experience. David and Steven were such inviting hosts. I’ve already checked off all of the superlative boxes, but must also give kudos for the outstanding breakfast. Really made our 1st day In Maine a memorable one!

Delicious homemade breakfast and comfortable setting

We recently stayed at Abigail’s Inn and it was an outstanding experience. From the beautiful accommodations, great location to walk to Camden, delicious breakfast in the courtyard and more, it exceeded our expectations. We didn’t want to leave!! The owners were impeccable hosts and we definitely plan to return.
