Premier Inn Falkirk Central

Lovely hotel and lovely restaurant! Easy check in process, Staff were great and rooms were spotless. The food and the service in the restaurant was excellent, breakfast was fresh (rare for a premier inn now). will definitely be booking again. Thank you!

The hotel is fine. Staff are pleasant. The restaurant is a disaster. The posters advertising the Meal Deal show a picture of a steak dinner. No mention that steak is only available at a supplement and that cider and most wines also carry supplements. Dreadful cooking. Undercooked steak at dinner. Breakfast was a single plate with 2 overcooked eggs, one slice of bacon and a single sausage served on a plate. Washed down with instant coffee as the machine was broken. There are better alternatives nearby.

Lovely room, plenty of parking. Had a lovely restaurant close by with really nice food. Had breakfast at the Premier Inn restaurant, and couldn't praise the restaurant staff enough when my youngest left his little dinosaur behind after our food. Didn't realise until 30 minutes later so had to go back for it and they had kept it, even after we had checked out and drove away! Very happy 3 year old and very grateful parents!

Friendly staff and ideally located for the town. We did the Supernova Kelpies 5k which was a 10 minute drive to Helix Park, and Falkirk parkrun which was an 8 minute drive to Callendar Park. Rooms were basic but clean, comfortable and very quiet so we had a good nights sleep. Plenty of on site parking and no issues with our stay.

Myself, my Wife and my daughter stayed 2 nights here. On arrival, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. All throughout our stay ever member of staff we met were the same and very helpful so that was a good start. The room itself was run down. Paint in bathroom all peeling, fan in the bathroom didn't work even though we are warned in the room of the very sensitive smoke alarm being effected by steam. TV was very small and in a weird place, in the corner of some shelves, when it could have easily been on the wall like most other places i stay. Our main door had to be slammed to shut, which made popping out at night quite awkward. Last thing, when the heater was switched on, the tiles around it lifted into the ceiling, making a noise when they dropped back into place after the heater reached the thermostat temperature. The whole place could REALLY do with an upgrade.

Staff friendly but building was a little depressing. Room small but sufficient for 1 night. Bed was comfy, bathroom stuck in the 80's. TV was tiny and lighting was again, dull and depressing. Restaurant next door, old Beefeater, was going through new ownership so not fully operational. No draft beers, mixed grill arrived with no eggs and the place felt soulless. Same for breakfast, was very quiet but staff did bear minimum really. Wouldnt stay again.
