Century Pines Resort Cameron Highlands

Pros: The hotel is located in the center of Tanah Rata. The breakfast was good, with plenty of options to choose from . Cons: Unfortunately there is a clock in front of the hotel which makes a lot of noise between 6am and 12pm. It also broadcasts the prayers as there is a mosque nearby. Unfortunately keeping the windows closed does not help with the noise. The entire hotel looks fancy but when you get closer to look at things you notice it's very old and poorly maintained. The bathroom was clean, but it was mouldy, dusty, with stains, all the towels had stains on them or a yellow tint. And even after the house cleaning, the second set of towels was also dirty. The furniture in the room was old, the dust on the back of the tv was never cleaned probably, same as on the air vents, the lamp had stains on it, the chair had a stain and a hole, the sofa chair had a big hole inside it. The shower head looked dirty so we ended up using only the bathtub. BTW you are not allowed to take a bath in the bathtub ..... And the fridge looked like something recovered from a scrapyard or a dumpster. Overall, for the price paid, this hotel felt as a total scam. The photos clearly do not reflect the reality. And the morning prayer waking us up at 6am daily while in our holiday was clearly a big no. That area where the hotel is located seemed the only are in town where one could hear the prayers. As for the hotel amenities, after seeing how dirty the room was, we did not bother using them.

Very close to the Bus station, easy check-in, nice room, comfortable bed. The view from room is not that good, less amenities, bathroom shower head is not so good. Wash basin water drain is not working properly, toilet seat is not cleaned well there were orange colored marks. It is very difficult to sleep since we could hear the sound of people walking. Morning reception staffs are not very helpful, specially lady staff, when i tried to clear some information, she the answer was very rude and judgmental, i could not get clear information. Later on the other boy from reception helped me. I would not recommend this resort. Since the price is not worth the stay and services.

We had such a lovely stay here! Great location and everything we needed was nearby and super convenient. Breakfast was a generous spread with plenty of choices to start the day right. But the best part, without a doubt, was the service. We stayed during the festive season when it was crowded and everyone was busy, yet the team was still smiling, attentive, and genuinely helpful. Special shoutout to Kenneth. Always the first to greet us, always checking in to see if we needed anything, and just made us feel so welcome. Yes, the place may be a little older, but the cleanliness and the service totally made up for it and truly made our stay brilliant. Thank you to the whole team. We really appreciate you!

Overall it’s an excellent experience  I love the park just opposite the resort and I’m enjoying morning cooling jog

This is my second time staying at Century Pines Resort, Cameron Highlands. Everything was great, which is why I chose to return after almost a year. We even received a complimentary high tea when we booked through Trip.com, which was a lovely bonus. The environment was very nice, peaceful, and relaxing. Overall, it was another enjoyable stay and I would definitely consider coming back again.
