Carlyle Hotel

Property is immaculate. Air conditioner works well. New mattresses are harder than I like, but passable.

Parking spaces are limited, and it can be a tight squeeze for larger vehicles. Arrive early and get a good spot in the underground, sheltered lot. The room was comfortable and room temperature was good.

Staff was friendly and attentive. Room was co.fortable. An update had occurred since the last time we had stayed here. Checkout was quick and easy. Would stay here again.

This hotel is exactly what I need for quick stays between my pet sitting gigs. Great staff, clean room and surprisingly quiet for being at a very busy intersection.

The smoke detector alarm went off at night around 8 pm and it went off multiple times more until around 9:30 pm. I had to call the front desk multiple times to check what was up, whether it was a real fire or if it's a malfunction in the detector. We didn't get clear answer until 9:30 pm, only when I demanded it. My daughter and I couldn't go to bed at a proper time. Also, the hot water was very sporadic. When I took shower, the water was lukewarm even when I turned it to the hottest. This hotel doesn't have the basics right. I think it's in business only because of their location, not because of their service or facilities. I know it was a cheap hotel to begin with, but they can do so much better than this. I will NEVER come back to this hotel.
