Family run, friendly hotel

BE WARNED and do not book this hotel. Look at all the reviews and you will get the general idea of why not to choose this place. Yes the staff are 100% horrid and the hotel is run by people that are made of stone. So un helpful if you have any problem at ALL!!! They will not budge on any request for help you may ask of them!!!! WIFI!! What WiFi? That doesn’t even exist so if you need to access WiFi for work etc then they DO NOT have it so be warned. We were taken on a wild goose chase to many of the rooms in pursue of any signal and it was not possible to get signal in any part of the hotel/apart hotel. We were told it’s a blip at the mo but that’s not the case. There is the most disgusting odour that is near the bar area, not nice when trying to enjoy a drink (that’s if you can get a seat in the small bar area for such a large hotel). The smell continues into the corridors of the apartments and in the bathroom of the apartment. The apartment is not fully equipped, as described, we had to boil water in a saucepan to be able to make some tea/coffee and there is no way of making toast. We paid for an apartment with a balcony and we did not have one. After asking at the front desk they said they didn’t have one and basically it was tough!! We had the description of a balcony on our booking confirmation but they were not interested in what was written at all. The apartment was uncomfortably hot and we were not sleeping due to not being able to open the sky light in the room. We had to leave this hotel if w head any chance of rest and being able to ski. The hotel did not give a damn about us and argued everything we spoke to them about. If you ever need to cancel or re-arrange then be warned they will not budge. There was no way they would compensate us in any way and was happy to kick us out of the door when we asked. We left and booked into the HG Molina which is well worth the extra money and right at the foot of the slopes. You may be thinking of booking this place due to its location but believe me that’s all it’s got. Ask yourself why this place may be the only place that has rooms left? Alarm bells should ring!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.
