My "4-Star" Stay Was an Utter Disappointment. My stay at this so-called 4-star hotel was extremely disappointing and did not live up to the rating in any way. While the building's exterior looks nice, that's where the positive impressions end. The most fundamental issue was the lack of a comfortable, climate-controlled environment. In this warm, humid climate, a working air conditioner is a basic necessity, but the flawed power system made it useless. The room key card also controls the power, and when you take it out to leave, the electricity immediately cuts off. This meant the AC shut off every time I left, allowing the heat and humidity to build up. It was incredibly frustrating to return to a stifling room after a day out. Even the reception area was hot and sticky. The bathroom was another major letdown. It had a persistent, musty odor, likely from mold or mildew, and there were visible stains on the ceiling. The shower was poorly designed, with the head fixed in a position that sprayed water directly onto the screen, forcing me to hold it with one hand to shower properly. To make matters worse, the swimming pool, a key amenity, was out of order for our entire stay. We paid for a relaxing experience but got one frustration after another. This hotel fails to provide the basic comfort and functionality expected of a 4-star establishment. They need to address these issues to truly earn their rating.

Pool is nice. Beds are hard. Breakfast is horrible. Late checkout is possible across the world. Standard is 2 hours unless the hotel is busy. It is disgusting to ask guests to pay extra for an additional hour of late checkout. The hotel is the opposite of busy especially during offseason. I can only wish you good luck with this attitude.

Great location as most activities are around the hotel and within walking distance. Staff are very friendly. Even the housekeeping staff keep their smile on and greeted me whenver passed by.
