Ibis Cancun Centro Reviews

I had a very pleasant stay at the Ibis Hotel in Cancún. The property is clean, comfortable, and offers great value for money. The rooms are simple but modern and well-maintained — exactly what you need for a short stay. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my visit, always ready to assist with any questions. The location is excellent, right next to a Walmart Express and within walking distance of restaurants, cafés, and transport connections. It’s also convenient for joining local tours and excursions. Breakfast was good, with a nice variety of options to start the day. The hotel feels safe and organized, and everything worked smoothly from check-in to check-out. Overall, a reliable and comfortable place to stay in Cancún — I would definitely recommend it for travelers looking for good value, cleanliness, and convenience.

Great location close to the big shopping center. But you can hang laundry as it is very small the room and no balcony. Further it is good. They have a drinking water machine in the lobby

Located in the side of a big traffic circle. Malls are near by but the beaches and wet lands are not close by. Hotel is basic.

It was better than the review. There's Walmart supermarket connected to lobby, so easy to grab foods, milks, gifts... Also, all the hotel counter abd service people are nice. My room was quiet and yes you can hear if people close door really hard but it can happen to any hotel. There's separate Air conditioning so room was cool. You can control the temperature. Also There's pizza restaurant and rental car service in the lobby. Very convenient location overall.

It is relatively large in scale and has a good location, right on the main road. The room basically had no facilities, just two beds. It was barely enough to get through the night and then move to a resort hotel the next morning. There is a Walmart and a 7-11 convenience store downstairs from the hotel.

There are too few rooms. We booked a room for three, but the two double beds were too small. Even with two suitcases, there was no room to move around. There were no chairs, only beds and a small wardrobe. We stayed here mainly for its proximity to the airport, but Uber takes 25 minutes to get there, and it costs over 300 pesos in the morning. There's a supermarket downstairs, a ** across the street, and a large shopping mall on the other side, so there's plenty of food and other supplies.

Good location, average breakfast. The window in the room does not open, very stuffy, ventilation does not cope.

Suitable for a one or two night stay, the room is small and the bathroom is cramped. The basic facilities are complete and clean. The location is convenient, there is a supermarket and convenience store downstairs, and there is a one-day tour counter in the lobby. There is a gas station in the mall opposite, a car rental company next to it, and the surrounding restaurants are also very good. But it is still quite far to the beach, and it costs nearly 100 RMB to take a taxi

The room is clean and tidy, and the location is good. It is about 2.5 kilometers away from the long-distance bus station in the city center. There is a Walmart supermarket downstairs, which is very convenient. There is a tourist information desk on the first floor where you can sign up for group tours around. Check-in and check-out are very fast.

I don't know how hotels in Mexico are rated... Overall, they seem to be quite backward... You have to bring a lot of things with you, but it's OK if you just want to rest overnight.
