It is a nice hotel with a small pool. Food service is good with a wide variety of drinks. Rooms are spacious with good amenities. Location is a bit interior but not a big issue. Sea is nearby but Calangute beach is around 7-8 km. away. Good choice for visit. Some tourist places are also nearby. Use Goa Miles App for local taxi service.

Находится в глубине застройки, до пляжа топать минут 15. Но в отеле есть автомобиль, который вас туда (на пляж) отвезет.
Прям рядом можно взять мопед, и вы - свободны как ветер.
В целом, конечно, это оазис прохлады и спокойствия в жарком и грязном Гоа.
В номерах все отлично, нет халатов. но это дело такое, не самое важное.
Бассейн в целом ок, есть бар с ценами x2, но терпимо.
Завтраки очень хороши: есть выбор по меню, + линия индийских блюд. Также в наличии хороший кофе, фрукты, выпечка, вафли, панкейки. Каждый найдет себе что-то свое.
Тренажерочка - скромная, но найти чем себя развлечь можно: 2 дорожки, эллипс (вроде), свободные веса, пару тренажеров.
Вайфай неплохой, тянет шустро.
Мы жили за 5,5к/ночь - цена вообще сказочная для этого отеля.
Вернусь ли еще в Астор - думаю да. Если выбирать между ним, Рэдиссоном и Хаятом (на минималках) - однозначно Астор.

В целом очень хороший отель, нам понравилось. Но были и не приятные моменты. Так как мы заранее не забронировали, то бронирование состояло из нескольких. И в какой то раз из переселений из номера нам не понравился балкон, он был очень маленький. Нам предложили за доплату другой номер, на что мы и согласились, и номер был ужасным, там был запах сырости и плесени, но самое не приятное было, то что менеджер разводил руками и предлагал освежить воздух и на этом собственно все. Не считая этого момента все просто замечательно, особенно молодой человек Linford, он заслуживает всяческой похвалы!!!

This is without doubt an exceptional hotel. The rooms are simply amazing and nearly faultless, all the staff are friendly, courteous and professional, the amenities are first class and the catering is outstanding. The pool area and bars are great, a good place to chill. The hotel has just one issue and it’s not a small one, the location is set well back and not in a good area, cars have difficulty driving down the narrow crumbling roads and walking out isn’t pleasant, especially when it’s dark as the street lighting is poor and the potholes are big. However, the hotel does provide a complimentary shuttle service to the main road and beach area which is a necessity. If you don’t mind walking through the rough areas it’s 10-20 minutes to the beach, depending on how fast you walk, of course. A few minor last points; due to layout of the hotel some suites don’t have balconies, but have sliding window access to the corridor next to your entrance door, but beware, if sit out in the corridor, guests can walk right up to you, plus the CCTV will be recording your every move. A hotel design fault? Next, I found the lift very tiny for a luxury hotel, it’s about 1 square metre, room for one person and 2 suite cases, plus the lift is often used by the hotel staff. The WiFi was insufficient most days, the speed didn’t reach 5mbps, not good if you’re here on business, provider issues were given for the poor speed. To summarise; all in all a perfect hotel if you don’t mind taking a taxi when you go out. Or a perfect hotel if you just want to stay in and use the hotel facilities, closing your eyes to the outdoor surroundings. Overall my stay was thoroughly enjoyable and great value for money. Would I return? 100% yes, but not in the room without a balcony.

The hotel staff is great . Always smiling, leaving little tokens for us after cleaning our room. We interacted with Devesh, Eric, Debashree, Jo Budhhadeb who is a very interesting boy who clicked pictures for us. Thankyou very much. The hotel and its amenities are wonderful. What an amazing stay it was. Worth every single penny. Mr. Buddhadev and Mr. Monu were excellent. Took very good care of us. Will definitely visit again
