We stayed at the Chateau Canmore, and due to difficulties with our original booking at another hotel, we were offered a an upgrade free of charge. Excellent customer service, and the superior suite was clean, large, and comfortable. It was also very easily reached off the highway, and with a 20 min walk of downtown Canmore. Awesome stay. Thank you.

Very bad experience at Reception. A rude receptionist of Indian bs ground. Not a problem with her heavy accent but she didn’t have the vocabulary to explain where can I ark the car . She draw in a map something that sent me 10 minutes walk on a dark street. She didn’t explain that our room is not on same location as reception. During this time she yawned twice. When we asked for clarification she said she already explained and asked if we have questions?! Are you guys kidding me? I understand the hotel can’t afford to pay Canadians but why don’t they hire competent people?! At checked out she was on duty again. She didn’t greet anyone and she was listening music. I travelled a lot (not in Indian) and I never have seen such an employee on this industry. lol

The hotel itself is in a great location to walk to restaurant and town center and looks great from the outside. It had underground parking. They were doing hallway renovations but that was not listed when booking. The photos of the place we had were misleading as the hotel room itself was pretty run down. The leather sofa is old and stained. The sofa bed was the same and very thin mattress. For 500 a night I would have expected more

The Mountain View is great of my trip. And hotel is free for car park. All was good when I was living here

I booked a two-bedroom hotel room three months ago for 1,100 Canadian dollars for two days. My friend booked it a few days before his arrival and wanted to upgrade to a suite like mine, so he added 80 Canadian dollars a day, which means the total price is 520+160=680 Canadian dollars for two days. So 1. Don't book in advance 2. Book the cheapest one and upgrade it to a good room after you go to the front desk
