Old English deco hotel, cozy and comfortable. Kind gesture with homemade cookies and tea served in our room. Seemed to have a long history and heritage hotel. Hotel restaurant served nice fish and chips!!

Although the facilities are a bit old, they are well-maintained and have a lot of character. I like it.

I booked it because of the good reviews. Some of the rooms in the photos don't have desks and stools, so I specifically wanted a room with a desk and stool. The room is quite big, but I can't complain about it. It's next to the front desk on the first floor. Although there is a small door outside the room, the sound insulation under the double door is barely OK. After 10 o'clock, the surrounding area is basically quiet, but around 6 o'clock in the morning, the surrounding area starts to get noisy, and there are many cars on the road outside.

From the service to the friendliness, this was truly the best accommodation in Alberta! It was on a whole other level than what I've experienced in other areas. Their welcome cookies and tea set were enough to melt the heart of a weary traveler. I highly recommend this place.

It's not the most central location in Canmore, but it only takes about 10 minutes to walk to the busy area. The room is very unique, with many small furnishings, but a little dusty receiptionist is nice

Loved it. Parts are getting tired looking. All stuff we encountered were exceptionally helpful and pleasant. Safety bars for the tub are essential.

Room was very rustic, old-english charming, with a very comfy bed, and decent view of the mountains. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The pub was full of mountain climbing antiques and relics, and had Guiness on tap. I enjoyed the antiques littered throughout, and the old elevator! It had a lot of character, and was clean, quiet, and comfortable.
