"It was our first time at Elena's B&B and we found it to be a welcoming place, with generous outdoor spaces surrounded by nature, an oasis of peace and quiet. Our apartment, Rosa, was beautiful and tastefully furnished in a rustic style, in keeping with the surroundings. It features a kitchenette with a sufficiently large living room, a welcoming and spacious bedroom, a comfortable bed for relaxing after a day of hiking, and a bathroom with a generously sized shower. Elena's friendliness, always available with advice and suggestions for places to visit, and a generous breakfast with delicious cakes and fantastic cream-filled brioches, set the day off to a good start. A stay in a location that truly leaves a piece of your heart behind when it's time to return home."

"Exceptional! We booked a truffle hunt with some friends while in Umbria attending a wedding. We were told we’d have a truffle hunt followed by a “light lunch” - we received so much more. We were escorted on the truffle hunt by two enthusiastic and adorable truffle hunting dogs who sniffed out some truffles right away. We had a very nice walk through the woods, after which we retired to the restaurant where we got a full history lesson and pasta making class from some wonderful women in the kitchen. We made pasta and cheese while they taught us about the history of the region and even gave us an Italian linguistics lesson, all helpfully translated to English for us. After the lesson we sat in the restaurant where it turned out our light lunch was actually a feast, with cured meats and cheese, soup, pasta made with our truffles, grilled meats, and dessert. We received so much more than expected and felt absolutely mothered while there. "
