New and comfortable, super functional hotel with some bathroom facilities...Parking with manufacturer and charged part (R$21,00 per day), tasty breakfast and variety but tb charged part (R$30, 00 per person). In my view, if you can add the costs of parking and breakfast can stay in a hotel well better with this value!! I didn't find a good cost x benefit! TB reception officials could be more sympathetic, Like the male dry staff!

The room is comfortable (Ap. 1008), but they could put some more cabins, we also missed cabinets. WiFi works perfectly. Breakfast is honest, but the restaurant and room service are expensive for what they offer. In the bathroom, it would be interesting to put the toilet paper door near the sanitary vase and to put in the box a ”panel or nick” to support shampoos.

We visit Porto Alegre once or twice a year and usually stay in Laghetto Viverone but decided to try here for a change. We had booked an apartment with balcony a number of months before. However the day before we arrived (after the 24 hour cancelation policy ended) we received a message saying the hotel was under renovation and please excuse the noise. Found this very odd. We arrived and parked in the very small car park underneath the hotel. First impressions were not great, the lobby really looked like it needed updating. We had to wait a few minutes as our room wasn’t ready (it was already 3.30pm). Our room on the 7th floor and was very rough around the edges. There were cobwebs all over the ceiling and scratches and stains were very noticeable. The safe didn’t work, so we needed to call maintenance which came quickly and fixed it. The breakfast was fine. We walked to the pool to have a look but again the facility seemed very dated. The noise started at 9am the next morning but as we were already away it wasn’t a huge issue. It seems the hotel should really close for a few months and do this renovation as it’s badly needed and reopen once complete, without guests staying throughout as it’s leaving a bad impression. The location is certainly one of the best in the city.

When I called and asked about the parking, I was informed that the hotel offered 6 free vacancies in front of the hotel, and I agreed with the open parking next door. But if you need to get out of the car, you will have to get to the parking stay and, when you come back, you will have to take a new ticket, paying another use of the parking, which was not reported by the attendant. Relatively new hotel which is kept in excellent condition. Rooms have lovely views and breakfast is excellent, although 1 day of the 5 we stayed they did struggle a little to keep up with demand. Best part: The pool! Great to finally have a outdoor pool with a view in the city! They do need to have some umbrellas though as it is South facing and the sun is relentless. Especially a concern with young children. Also the floor in the pool area is extremely slippery when you have wet feet. There is also a top quality shopping mall on site with some fabulous food choices. Staff were very good indeed! My only gripe was they ran out of English Breakfast Tea Bags so I had no tea for the last 2 days... but that's my own fault for being English!
