In the spacious garden we have sun loungers and the possibility to play table tennis. In the “Salon Rouge” there is a pool table, books, playing cards and many other games. In our restaurants with terrace directly on the lake, you will find the perfect place to celebrate special moments. The hotel has a beautiful view of Lake Brienz. We can see the lake from our balcony. The room is big enough to accommodate 4 people. Room is nice and clean. The bathroom also spacious. Overall we have a good time here. 😊

My friends and I stayed for a total of three days and all thought it was very good. Although there was a small misunderstanding about the city tax in the middle, overall the service level was quite high.

What a hotel it is. The location is just perfect. They have free parking. And the view can't be described in words- I haven't seen such wonderful sunrise in my entire life. I just loved it.

I have stayed at Seiler au Lac for over 25 years. The Zingg family and their staff have unfailingly provided a warm, friendly and helpful welcome. Food and service in the La Gare and the Pizzeria restaurants remain at the usual high standard. My room was consistently, promptly and meticulously maintained. There are good facilities for adults and families.

As others have noted, what a view! The hotel is situated perfectly if you want to be close enough to all the action of the area, but also far enough to be in a peaceful setting. Interlacken OST was only a 10 minute bus ride from right in front of the hotel for trains anywhere. Lake Brienz is beautiful to take a boat ride to Brienz or Iseltwald. We found the room extremely large, a little old but a great view from our balcony. The entire staff was very welcoming and happy to help especially the young man in the breakfast room.

I discovered this hotel 10 years ago on our first trip to Switzerland. We were staying in Interlaken and I went for a run one morning to go exploring the area. I came out of a trail along the lake a saw this gorgeous hotel a vowed to stay there the next time we came back to Switzerland. 10 years later it was soooo worth the wait. Everything about this place was great!! The staff, food, all of it!!! BUT THE VIEWS!!!! You just can’t put them into words. This place exceeded all my expectations and hope to return soon!

Tried this hotel due to its location on the lake and the view from our window was mesmerising - the view made up for any other shortcomings. The hotel is quite dated and in desperate need of an upgrade, though some people may like that old world charm. Breakfast was ok but nothing special. Room was comfortable, bathroom was clean and owner was helpful with local advice. If you are a light sleeper like me then ensure you all for a room in the newer wing as it has concrete rather than timber floors. I struggled to sleep because could hear all footsteps at all hours of the night.

I cannot thank this hotel enough for all the support they gave us when my husband suffered a medical incident and was admitted to hospital. This was our fourth visit to this beautiful hotel and village. We booked to stay for 10 nights but due to the incident we ended up staying 15 nights, the hotel found us extra accommodation for our son who flew out to support us and kept us in our original room. Every member of staff supported us. The food was outstanding particularly the fish dishes. We had the choice of sitting inside or outside for our meals. Housekeeping kept the hotel so clean.
