Residence Cap Winston
"Ideal for those who want to live in Monaco with a view of the yachts without having to sell a kidney first! Great location. 10-15 minutes to the train station. 5-7 minutes to Carrefour (for grabbing takeout) and McDonald's (for those looking for something cheap and cheerful). The Cap D'Ail trail is also nearby for a morning stroll. The port of Fontvieille is also nearby. The Oceanographic Museum and Monaco-Ville are within easy reach. The room overlooks the port with its yachts and boats! Sit on the terrace and admire the beautiful sunset. I recommend it."
Hotel Normandy
"The Hotel Normandy in Cap-d’Ail is a charming place to stay, perfect for an overnight stop 🌟. Its warm atmosphere, attentive service, and comfortable beds make it a relaxing haven after a busy day. What makes it even more convenient is its immediate proximity to the bus stop—ideal for reaching Monaco in just a few minutes without any stress. Whether for a quick getaway or a longer stay, it's an excellent base for exploring the French Riviera with ease."
Riviera Marriott Hotel la Porte de Monaco
"The Riviera Marriott in Monaco was overall an okay experience. The hotel feels a bit outdated, and our room wasn’t very clean when we first arrived. Thankfully, the staff addressed it quickly and cleaned the room. The location is decent, but it’s about a 30-minute walk to the main streets of Monte Carlo. However, they do offer a free shuttle service to the city, which was convenient. The pool is quite small, and the gym is very limited in size and equipment. Breakfast was fine – nothing special, but not bad either. All in all, a solid 3 out of 5. It’s not a bad place, but there’s definitely room for improvement."
SARA RIVIERA Costa Plana
"This was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I have ever had. The rooms are built on a steep mountainside with no elevators, making access extremely inconvenient and impractical for families or anyone carrying luggage. The room itself was tiny, and the management showed no willingness to assist at any point. The first room assigned to my family was on the top floor, forcing us to carry all our bags up the mountain path, only to find a smelly room with a non‑functional AC, and the main door can’t be locked down —completely unacceptable. There are no restaurants, no room service, and no lifeguards at the pool, which raises serious concerns about both safety and service standards. Adding to the frustration, check‑in is at 4 PM, check‑out is at 11 AM, and they charge for every additional hour, despite offering a substandard experience. Based on everything we encountered, I will not be returning to this property."
Hotel De Monaco
Villa Azur Cap d'Ail
"We returned to this beautiful place for the second time, in the green, comfortable to visit the blue coast. We went from the villa to walk to visit the monk princess in less than half an hour we were at the port. That's beautiful. The villa is the ideal place for a relaxing holiday and discovering new places. Our apartment was spacious and well organized this time, thanks to the children always available (we had a problem with the coffee shop immediately replaced 🙏🏼). We advise all those who love independence and comfort"
