What an amazing boutique hotel with a country home feel in the middle of the countryside AND with easy access to the beach! The hotel grounds are immaculate and the pool was simply perfect. The food at the restaurants were also 10/10, as was the welcoming staff. It's the perfect home base to explore Maremma (still quite a hidden gem). Capablio town was incredible as was the nearby beach. Highly recommend this hotel for the beautifil hotel itself and access to the beaches of Tuscany!

We decided last minute to visit Tuscany for a couple of days and choose Locanda Rosa as our place to stay. It has proven an excellent choice. The property offers a quality experience and the food is also excellent. Barbara and her team are doing a great job. If possible we will gladly return. Thank you for lovely days away.

We wanted a quiet break not too far from places to go, but not right on top of the 'famous places' in Tuscany - although the local towns were semi-closed for the off-season, we had a perfect mix of days out, beach days, country drives, sun-bathing, eating. Strong recommend.

We loved our stay at Locanda Rossa and were sad to leave! The surrounding area was beautiful and fun to explore, as was the property. The bar and restaurant, while on the pricier side, were absolutely excellent and the waitstaff were super kind. We went towards the end of the season, so the weather was not perfect but it was nice and quiet, which we loved. This would be a nice resort for a couple or families.

Lovely hotel in a very rural setting a few miles from Capalbio. Essential to have a car. Interesting area, a little bit off the main tourist route I would say. Our room was lovely, very spacious with a fabulous bathroom and balcony , am pleased we booked the de-luxe. Very helpful staff, particularly the concierge who helped us with bookings and visit suggestions. We sadly didn't have great weather, so didn't get to use the pool which looks beautiful. The weather also meant that the breakfast and bar areas were quite chilly (despite some heaters) so not conducive to lounging around. Breakfasts were excellent with a great range of food. Restaurant was good, fairly pricey but delicious food.
