An amazing experience from start to finish, each and every employee was friendly, knowledgeable & gracious! Room was beautiful with the most amazing views of the Nubble Lighthouse! Food at the outdoor Airstream cafe was wonderful and the waitstaff fun & engaging! An incredible way to celebrate our wedding anniversary! Thanks so much to everyone at The Viewpoint for a truly fabulous 3 night stay!

This is hands down my favorite hotel in Maine. It’s not cheap but the price is worth it for the amazing views of the nubble especially to watch the sunrise & sunset over the light house.

We so enjoyed the beautiful views & highly appointed accommodations at the Viewpoint! Living in GA where the heat is already in the 90s, we wanted a few more days of cool weather. The Viewpoint & York delivered. We can’t wait to come back! K&A Valdosta, GA

...we experienced yet another wonderful little get away to our favorite resort - The Viewpoint Hotel. We loved the BATHS experience and we were especially happy that the heated pool was still open for us to enjoy a beautiful sunny October afternoon as we embraced the hotel extra amenities; THE LITTLE AUK is always delightful and delicious... We also appreciated the wines for purchase in the registration space - so convenient with a small, but wonderful selection of libations... The staff was as always incredibly kind and helpful - creating a most wonderful experience and stay for my elderly parents and ourselves - The Viewpoint Hotel two bedroom suite accommodations was absolutely perfect for our family gathering and vacation at the beautiful Maine shore... Our Autumn Adventure was perfect in every way possible. We are most grateful to the entire Viewpoint staff.

We loved our stay at the Viewpoint Hotel! The Shoreside Room had a terrific view and was modern, quiet, and private (we were glad that there wasn't a major event at the hotel during our stay). The lookout over the lighthouse was perfect for our first night in Maine. It was also easy to walk to the lighthouse for a closer viewpoint. The sky was clear and we were able to see the Milky Way and shooting stars after dark. A take-out dinner from the hotel's restaurant perfectly complemented our stay. We didn't have time to use the spa but that's a great amenity too. We'd recommend this to anyone who wants a luxury accommodation!

For my annual surprise birthday trip for my wife, I searched for a five star experience by the ocean that’s open off season. Found The Viewpoint on Trip Advisor, just a 90 minute drive from our home up the Midcoast. After a trip to the Kittery Outlets and a seafood lunch I found we still had two hours before Viewpoint’s 4pm checkin. Had just mentioned this to my wife in the car when the hotel front desk texted to say “Good news! Your room is ready early.” A great relief since we were just minutes away from the “mystery” hotel destination by then. Reception couldn’t have been smoother. Our host escorted us to our room and when she opened the door, my wife’s jaw dropped at the room and THAT VIEW. Exactly that room (2) in the website photo. Although we could only stay one night, it was absolutely fabulous. Picking hotels on line is tricky, and The Viewpoint was a treasure. We won’t forget the experience. Lesson = early in the spring, if one is lucky to catch that one sunny day out of five that are rainy/misty/cold, you’ve won. And we did.

AMAZING hotel with stunning views, comfy beds, and friendly staff! Everything was super clean and beautifully decorated. I always love hotel showers and this was one of the best ever! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! Definitely put this place on your list!

We celebrated our anniversary at the Viewpoint. Stayed in a suite with the bedroom in a loft. It had great views of ocean and Nubble Lighthouse. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.
