Boulders Beach Hotel, Cafe and Curio Shop Reviews

Nice enough rooms. Unfortunate restaurant and shop close really early so need to get dinner elsewhere. Also currently no liquor license .

The service was okay - one lady told us that we couldn’t get Ubers or takeaways but we managed to get both fine! Load-shedding was at stage 4 but wifi worked well from the bedroom, even during blackouts. Room was small but did the job! Good location for seeing the penguins and enjoying Simon Town…

We had a lovely over night stay at Boulders Beach Hotel. The hotel provides easy access to the nearby beaches.

This is a prime position to all the little beaches of Simon's Town. The view from the deck is just lovely, and our hosts kind and friendly. The room had comfy beds, and all we needed in terms of self catering. We have decided to do this every year, as it felt like such an indulgent stay🩵

Very nice looking property, excellent location for Boulder beach, nice rooms. Not that big, but everything you need. We didn't use breakfast; but lunch was good!

The Lodge is excellent. Good service. Staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms is comfortable and well organised

Our room was clean and comfortable and the staff were very accommodating. Location is fabulous. Had coffee and pancakes for breakfast from the kitchen facility alongside verandah which was really good so we ordered lunch from them again later that same day - really nice food!

It was the first time for us and it was a delightful stay. It was strange for us to be in holiday accommodation without a TV and air-conditioner. There was a fan available, and that had to suffice while the heat was intense during our stay. Through no fault of the host, the wind blew strongly for three days, but nevertheless it was an enjoyable stay. We preferred Ceylon tea rather the Rooibos, which was on offer.

Great place for a few days stay. Several beaches, penguins a few minutes. Nice atmosphere, good service, 5 minutes by car to Simon's Town.

Our stay was very enjoyable and everyone had a great time. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. Everything was neat and clean. Being at Boulders beach it was extremely busy which we expected, however parking is a big problem and we often had to park miles away and move the cars later at night to get a parking. We where a big party of 10 and ordered dinner at the hotel one evening, everyone was disappointed with their meals, the dinner menu is newly introduced and hopefully they will get the quality of food up to a better standard. One of our rooms was Fair View and we had at least 4 to 6 people every day trying to enter our apartment to use the bathrooms, its just a little unclear what's the restaurant, private accommodation or reception, maybe some more signage. We will definitely be back.
