Best Hotels near The Einstein Summerhouse, Caputh

I have read a lot of comments now and cannot understand how to evaluate this hotel only approachingly with less than 4 stars ! The hotel is great ! Both the individual apartments in the outdoor houses (which we could easily exchange for a room in the house) and the entire facility, the hotel, just everything! Here she has given the owner so great effort and put a really great concept or a great facility on the legs ! The staff in the whole house is incredibly nice and premature ! Breakfast has everything you need and is constantly fresh and varied ! No matter whether wellness area , outdoor facilities or rooms, everything is clean and modern , you feel very well ! We travel a lot across the world and this hotel has a super price-performance ratio! Ps. At the size of the facility, it can once The fact that you have to wait a little while or the breakfast room is a little more full, to assess something like that as “bad” is not understandable for me! The staff at the restaurant/at breakfast was unfortunately more concerned that the guest - goes back in time (at the entry I was told I would come 10 minutes before breakfast end. I shouldn't just say later that I wouldn't have known) - or not disturbed (my husband wanted lunch and there was no staff who took him. Therefore he placed himself on a unreserved table. The staff came and thought he was making everything wrong and couldn't sit there. Why and how he does it right, it was not just answered nicely. He may stay alone). A third not so nice experience: At request of the business center deposited on Trip.com to work on the laptop, my husband should pay 100 euros for 1 day - it was probably confused with a meeting room. The front desk was told at the reception that he could also sit in a empty restaurant. When he wanted to do this in the morning, the restaurant staff ignored it. Unfortunately, not such a nice stay for us.

Der Hotelkomplex des „Vienna House by Wyndham Havelufer Potsdam” liegt nahe am Havelufer und lädt in relative ruhiger Umgebung zum Verweilen ein. Allerdings sind einige der Zimmer eher einfach eingerichtet und verströmen lediglich durch mehrere Holzbalken als Gestaltungselemente in den Zimmern etwas Flair. Als Ausgangspunkt für Unternehmungen in Potsdam ist das Hotel nahe der Straßenbahnlinie S91 und dem Bahnhof Potsdam Charlottenhof gut geeignet, für längere Aufenthalte würde ich es nicht empfehlen. Ich war im September 2023 zu Gast in dem Hotel und hatte Doppelzimmer 215 zugeteilt bekommen. Das Zimmer liegt im ehemals als Korn-Speicher genutzten und jetzt umfunktionierten Hoteltrakt mit Blick auf eine rückwärtige Grünfläche und die Außen-Terrasse eines italienischen Restaurants. Dieses wird offenbar recht gut besucht – entsprechender Unterhaltungslärm war bei gutem Wetter abends in unserem Zimmer bis Restaurantschließung (Mitternacht) bei geöffnetem Fenster zu hören. Das Zimmer hatte eine einfache funktionale Ausstattung mit einem kleinen Doppelbett (gute Matratzen), Wandlehne mit zwei Abstell-Brettern (als Nachttisch-Ersatz), Tisch, ein Stuhl, Telefon, Fernseher, Spiegelgestell mit acht Kleiderhaken und zwei Schubladen (als Schrankersatz…) und der Möglichkeit, einen kleinen Koffer abzustellen. Durch ein Rundbogenfenster hatte man einen Ausblick auf die Grünfläche hinter dem Hotel. Das Badezimmer hatte eher den Charakter eines Jugendherberg-Bades mit einem Waschbecken (wie man sie oft auf Raststätten-Toiletten findet) und einer Duschecke mit Plastikvorhang. Daneben beengt: die Toilette. Seifengel und Shampoo-Fläschchen standen bereit. Recht gut empfand ich das Büfett-Frühstück, dass im Erdgeschoss mit Blick auf den Grünbereich und Zugang zu einer Außenterrasse (mit Tischen und Stühlen) angerichtet war. An beiden Tagen meines Aufenthaltes herrschte gutes Wetter, so dass Frühstück auf der Terrasse im Freien möglich war. Hätte man die nichts nutzen können an den Tagen, wäre es im eigentlichen Restaurantbereich zu Wartezeiten gekommen, wenn das Hotel gut ausgelastet ist. Wartezeiten gab es auch an der nur einen (langsam arbeitenden) Kaffeemaschine. Fertiger Filterkaffee in kleinen Kannen stand bereit, die „langsame“ Kaffeemaschine bot auch Cappu, Latte und Co. Die Frühstückauswahl war gut, alles da: Verschiedene Wurstauflagen, Käse, Marmeladen, Obst, Joghurts, Eier-Variationen, Brot, Brötchen und Croissants, Cerealien, Säfte, Wasser und sogar Sekt. Zwei Fahrstühle bieten im Hotel gute Zugangsmöglichkeiten zu den Zimmern auf den vier Stockwerken. Außen gibt es im Freien eine Raucherecke mit Outdoor-Sofa. Die Straßenbahnhaltestelle S 91 ist nahe dem Einfahrtsbereich des Hotels an der Zeppelinstraße und schnell erreichbar. Bis zum Bahnhof Potsdam-Charlottenhof sind es 6 - 7 Gehminuten. Die Innenstadt (u.a. Holländisches Viertel) erreicht man nach 15 S-Bahn-Minuten. Nahe dem Hoteleingang gibt es mehrere Parkplätze, die 10 Euro pro Tag kosten. An der

The location of the hotel is very good, it was originally a general impression of the hotel, because the limitations of the elevator is very inconvenient. The hotel staff and management are very good, tell the lost computer in time, thank you very much, so be sure to come again next time!

The hotel is big, conference-type, and all kinds of facilities are very good. It is by the lake and can park for free on the nearby roadside. The hotel is a bit off, there is a Chinese restaurant in a few minutes drive, and I walked past ten to twenty minutes.

Worst Service i have ever experienced. Hotel was pre paid through 3rd party booking service, upon arrival in the Self check in counter I had to pay for the full reservation again. Since it was late and we needed our room I chose to pay and deal with it later. When confronting the front desk I was met by 2 arrogant guys who couldn't care less to help with the problem and told me that they only had an invoice from the 3rd party booking. I showed them my mastercard transaction and said that they could check the Lobby camera to see that exact time on the check in day I would be in the lobby entering my card details on the Check in Ipad but no help was provided. Afterwards I contacted the Hotel through website with no response so I have just been left with paying twice for a hotel room. I am for sure never using Seminaris ever again.

Great customer service with individual standouts. The gentleman who at least tried to fix our faulty A/C; the Genovese guy who bothered to make me coffee at 4AM for my USA based Zoom meeting; generally friendly staff. Studio apartment concept very positive. Money would have been over-priced, however, if not for my having paid with some rewards points. Priced way too high otherwise for the decor and general condition of the place. It isn't the Ritz Carlton, or even Marriott, the latter of which was actually cheaper. Most egregiously: The A/C's did not function properly, and sometimes didnt function AT ALL. And it was 30 degrees out, for the two days we were there. Murderously hot in the rooms we rented, with no let up. This is tell-tale sign of hotels owned by indifferent and complacent organizations that think people shouldnt or won't complain about bad A/C's, and thus will never have the integrity or professionalism to repair or replace same. It is a cheap BS attitude, and, at least in our case, has eliminated the possibility of appx 35 people in our sphere ever going to this place again, great customer service notwithstanding. I received a response apologizing for this, and committing to ”share the criticism”, whatever that meant. To be clear: That does absolutely NOTHING for me, and doesn't answer the fundamental question: when are these A/C's being replaced? The answer to that question dictates when, if ever, this hotel will ever get the many thousands of euros I, and my family and friends, would otherwise be spending there.
