My stay was exceptional, the owners were so warming and friendly, the rooms hygiene, cleanliness and accessibility were more then above board, it is a famliy ran business and they go more then out there way to help, the atmosphere and kindness was heart felt, the breakfast on a morning was made on order happerly accommodating my dietary requirements with no fuss or hassle, this is a beautiful peaceful place to stay with lots of function and accessible places around I rate this 10/10 and will be going back

Most welcoming Host. Good wi-fi,Location ideal.very clean and comfortable.Breakfast was excellent.Would highly recommend.Parking is available in St Nicholas car park next door, Just let Ishwar know your registration No of your vehicle.

Nice, clean and very friendly environment ,the management was consistent and considered your opinion.they offer's assistance when necessary, very friendly environment, I recommended any around Carlisle to use them.They offer breakfast for their customers, enjoy your time while you holiday or in business.

We stayed here with work collegues The rooms are very clean and comfortable. lovely breakfast served on a morning. We were well looked after by the owners and will definitely stay again when working in the area.

I have been using the Arkale for a few months now in-between travelling for work and could not recommend it highly enough. Ishwar is an exceptionally accommodating, friendly and hospitable host and offers comfortable rooms and beds as well as a delicious homemade breakfast. The lodge it perfect for families, couples, travellers and commuters, and is in a great location close by the railway and the shops. Thank you, Ishwar! :)

Second stay here and I would highly recommend this B&B for it's cleanliness, comfort, peacefulness and quiet. Ishwar makes you feel very welcome and the breakfast is cooked to your own liking! Lovely, friendly atmosphere and spotlessly clean. Excellent value for money.

One of the best place to stay. Clean room, nice an tidy very friendly family people go out they way to help you if your not familiar with the area very nice stay will always go back there 😀 so if you want to stay in carisle give arkale lodge a try 😀.

I've enjoyed my stay at arkale. The rooms are clean and spacious. The bed is very comfortable and I looked forward to the breakfast every morning. The manager is a jovial and friendly man, ready to make you feel at home. I'll definitely be back

It was really lovely staying in the Arkale Lodge. The host was very nice. The breakfast was absolutely amazing. The room was clean. The bed was a little bit small for two people, but it wasn't a big issue. I would totally come back.
