Days Inn by Wyndham Carlsbad

The room is very spacious, and I really like its layout.

Clean but too loud If you don’t mind noise then this is a good place to stay. The freeway is deafening. There is no breakfast as advertised, just coffee and danish. The room was clean with plenty of space. We wouldn’t return here, we prefer peace and quiet

Noisy. Shower rod wasn't clean and the curtain wasn't low enough, so water from showet would soak bathroom floor. I nearly slipped on floor as a result. My biggest issue was with some of the staff. One was disrespectful of sleeping customers, her chatting through the night close to my room. And the person I checked in with seemed irritated that I made last minute reservations, saying that he barely had time to get it ready (I checked in at 4pm). The room smelled heavily of chemicals (smelled like bleach) when I checked-in that I had to open the window and leave for a few hours in hope that the room would air out enough. It gave me an instant headache. Not my idea of a fun evening when I was already tired when I arrived. I stayed 3 nights and didn't get much sleep during that time due to the noise. On a good note the bed was comfortable enough.
