Le Petit Pali at 8th Ave

Le Petit Pali at 8th was amazing! We celebrated my 30th here from Fort Worth, TX and had such an amazing trip. We brought our 7 month old son and had baby rental gear delivered via BabyQuip. Karen and Shaq set up the gear and moved us to a bigger room before we got there which was so sweet, we definitely felt welcomed as a family. Shaq was so helpful with recommendations and Karen was always checking in to see if we needed anything. The champagne breakfast is a fun touch and Natalie our waitress was on top of it. I always felt like staff was on top of cleanliness and our room was always so clean. Valencia the housekeeper did a great job and I loved that they were always cleaning around our time out of the room and trying to make in convenient for us. The decor of the entire place is precious and such a fun vibe and the T3 straightener, blow dryer, and clothes steamer are nice additions as well! This would be a great place for a girls trip, couple, or families. I previously read concerns on parking and the walls being thin but I will say the little amount of foot traffic I heard from the room upstairs didn’t bother us or the baby at all, and the parking during December wasn’t much of an issue either. If having a parking lot is priority then you could select the ocean ave property that Le Petit Pali has. Chris at the front desk was super helpful at checkout explaining the differences in properties so I know for next time but we would definitely come back here because of the great touches and the customer service! The room did have a mini fridge but I also needed a freezer for ice packs for my breastmilk and the front desk was happy to keep the ice packs in their freezer up front, just a note for moms traveling with milk. Thanks for an amazing 30th birthday trip! A note on the AC….most hotels in Carmel don’t have them which worried me a bit being from Texas but in December we kept a window open during the day and heater on at night and the temp was perfect.

This review has been long overdue and I need to share this experience at this darling hotel! Check - in was smooth sailing and the gal at the desk - I didn’t get her name was so delightful and kind. They offered us a glass of champagne. We had noted on our reservations we were bringing our doggo but, left him at home. We entered the room to see there was a dog amenity for him - such a cute touch! Anyhow the hotel was obviously newly renovated and the design was amazingggg. The breakfast was just was beautiful and had so many great local treats. In the evening we ran into Alessandra who was very kind, engaging and wished us a happy anniversary! I literally can’t wait to return and have told all my friends to go. Such a great gem.

Staying at Le Petit Pali was an absolute dream!! This boutique hotel is absolutely gorgeous inside and out. When we first arrived, we were greeted with smiles and local sparkling rosé! Upon entering our room, we were blown away with how beautiful and clean it was. It consisted of so many surprises! There were complementary fresh baked cookies in our room, along with a mini bottle of champagne, and chocolates! My girlfriend and I were also ecstatic over the toiletries in the shower. The brand and smells of the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were earthy and soothing. The shower was big and the bed was super comfortable! In the morning, there was a mini buffet consisting of fresh ham and cheese croissants from a local bakery, soft boiled eggs, fresh butter with toast, and my favorite yogurt of all time, La Fermiere! Overall, our stay was nothing short of perfect! My girlfriend and I had the best time. It was really difficult to leave our room because it was so cozy and quaint!! Thank you Le Petit Pali! We look forward to coming back soon!

I can’t say enough about this hotel. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The room itself was super cute and comfortable, by far my favorite of any boutique hotel i’ve stayed at. The room was well designed with the guest in mind, and the hotel provides all the conveniences you could expect. The hotel also had lots of extra treats and probably the best complimentary breakfasts i’ve had. Not to mention the location, it’s a short few blocks from the main road and a little further to the beach from there. We hope to get the chance to stay here again!

This place is great, beds are comfy, amenities are nice, unfortunately rooms are tight so maybe not the best for new romances as the bathroom has little to no privacy. If you are in the mood you can check out bikes and take them for a spin.

The remodel from The Hideaway to Le Petit Pali is so chic! Comfy rooms, lovely lobby area with lots of sitting areas and a fireplace and a caring staff. Shoutout to Karen, Natalie, April, Steve and Shaq for making our stay so nice. Highly recommend!

My best friend & I had an absolutely perfect stay here just before the holidays. Probably my favorite boutique hotel I've ever stayed at. Not one detail has not been thought through and it is so appreciated! The cottage core design is to die for. The staff is so sweet and friendly. Shaq specifically was very accommodating and helpful throughout our stay. Carmel is an absolute gem. Will be returning asap. Thanks so much for everything, Le Petit Pali!

We loved our stay at Le Petit Pali, and all of the delightful surprises: sparkling rose' at check in, beer-tastings, tasty breakfast offerings, cozy spots to gather, bicycles to borrow...plus in the beautifully decorated rooms were comfy robes, a straightening iron, cookies each night and other amenities. The location was perfect...just a block from the shops and restaurants, and a walk to the beach and scenic drive. We traveled with our daughter and son-in-law, and will certainly return!
