We went to the Harbourview Hotel for a family meal. It was another great meal-food, cocktails snd staff are excellent. Front of house and management were also very welcoming. There was live music later on in evening. We will definitely be back!

Totally a ripoff £18 for this you get more in a kid meal small fish and had full of chips but mostly tiny We drove from Antrim to try it out and my parents chicken was dry with no flavor it's a shame the gallery chip shop wasn't open safe to say won't be back

Our first visit to the Harbourview on Friday. We were loyal customers of the predecessor. Well, we needn't have worried. Delighted with the decor. Atmosphere maintained. Food delicious. Some lovely young new staff learning the ropes in tow with the familiar faces. A genuinely lovely evening. Thank you. Many more evenings to look forward to 😊

The hotel has just been refurbished and reopened yesterday. As such, we expected a few “teething” problems in the restaurant. However, our visit this evening was more of a “near full mouth extraction”. Ordering drinks, we were asked if we were ready to order food - without having the benefit of being given food menus with the drinks menu. Easy and excusable mistake. What followed was not as easily excused. The drinks (plus one not ordered) arrived . After placing a few of the glasses on the table, the young waiter (we saw it about to happen) lost the balance of the tray, with the contents crashing to the floor, soaking and frightening the life of my one year old granddaughter. My heart went out and still goes out to that young fella. Accidents DO happen but it’s how you deal with these that makes the difference. We were told the drinks would be “on the house” 2 cordials, 2 minerals and 2 beers. OK. After about 50 minutes , the food arrived, with mayonnaise about 20 minutes later. When the bill arrived, the drinks, including the unordered one were charged. When queried, we were advised “but we did replace them”. HOW ELSE WERE WE TO DRINK THEM? Food was Ok - just Ok. Overall NOT IMPRESSED and we will vote with our feet. I do write reviews wherever I visit, excellent, good, not so good. But this was further even than NOT GOOD!!! It wasn’t particularly the incidents/accidents, it was the way they were not dealt with. What really convinced me to pen this review was the “but we replaced the drinks” comment!

Cold food, poor service, drinks order incorrect, waiters first day on the job and split and smashed drinks over the child, child crying so a senior waiter offered the drinks on the house, which was subsequently reversed. Waited over an hour for the food as we, asked for the same missing condiments 3 times. Just completely avoid.

Went to the Coach House for lunch, The overall upgrade to the premises was good and did not take away the traditional feel. The food however was poor by Hotel standards and the staff were pleasant but needed training not least of all on the menu. The service was slow but the food on arrival was very poor and this was only the provision of an open sandwich and two fry's which is basic cooking even for a café. The sausages were unevenly cooked ,the bacon was undercooked, the egg was burnt on the edge and cooked in a dirty pan, fried bread was tough and tea and coffee which was part of the menu was not offered or delivered, The price for the meals were well in advance of the quality served and sadly would mean no return visits.
