The Old Carrabelle Hotel ★★★
"First time visiting this part of the panhandle. Needed a pet friendly spot & since I love an old Florida vibe, OCH seemed to fit the bill. We stayed in the Captain’s Quarters & found it to be very comfortable & quiet. Nice linens & pillows. Very cozy. Even though the bathroom is across the hall, it still seemed private & was blocked off from the rest of the first floor. I LOVED the large size. Shower was great. High ceilings make it seem even larger. The only issues preventing 5 stars is the super musty smell in the closet & the rugs / carpet could use replacing/cleaning. Otherwise, it was quite charming, good location (short walking distance from town) & friendly, extremely helpful host. Try the nearby SOS Galley food truck & Bow tie bakery. Both 10/10!"
