A birthday weekend was made extra special by our discovery of the Habberstad House Bed & Breakfast in Lanesboro, MN. We stayed in the Carriage House and the space was amazing and perfect! Hosts Elaine and Mark were great and we were able to tour all the other rooms available in the main house! Let us say, each and every room is absolutely wonderful and we would like to stay in all of them!! The breakfasts were amazing and personally delivered each morning to the Carriage House in a picnic basket! What a treat! We look forward to returning soon! A wonderful birthday weekend! My family and I have stayed at numerous B&Bs over the past 20 years, and I have to say Elaine is one of the most genuine and wonderful hostesses we have ever had the pleasure of meeting! Her home is decorated beautifully and is immaculate. We stayed in the newly renovated third level and it is gorgeous and extremely comfortable. The breakfast was unique both mornings but equally delicious. If you need anything during your stay it seems like every little detail has been thought of. I highly recommend staying here as it is one of the best B&Bs we have ever visited! THANK YOU again for everything - you made our weekend amazing, Elaine!!
