I stayed here for about 1 month. The staff is absolutely AMAZING!!! They deserve praise, they went above and beyond accommodating my family and I during our travels. KANILILYAH, KENYE, REGINA H., VALDESHA....were the highlight as they all made sure to ensure I had towels, when things were not available they called me to ensure it was taken care of etc. They all deserve to be valued here at this location. Your hard work and dedication do not go unnoticed ladies 👏🏾 WONDERFUL job and I have already recommended this location to my family and friends.
Motel 6 Carson, CA

Strange that when you walk into a room in a Non Smoking hotel, all you can smell is the ”after smoke” and air freshener trying to cover up such a smell. That's what greeted me when I walked into my room at this Motel 6. This was a busy hotel the weekend we stayed. Some very odd people in the car park over our 2 night stay. Obviously the price and location have a lot to do with the type of customer's staying at this hotel. After my room having a decent dose of fresh air, the room itself was comfortable and warm. The room had a microwave and fridge which was useful. Also, a wall mounted flat screen which was well above average. There is a mall opposite, and it's about a 30 minute walk to Rokit Field. All the staff were nice and friendly.

Great hotel! Convenient parking (locked with gates), clean, good amenities (iron, fridge, coffee maker with coffee and teas, hairdryer, iron, shared microwave), very good breakfast (cereals, yogurt, fruits, waffles, eggs and sausage patties, bagels and cream cheese). Also, it has onsite restaurant with a 50% dining offer for guests.
DoubleTree by Hilton Carson

This hotel does not deserve even a one star. I am a Diamond member with Hilton. I have stayed over 50 nights this year so far for work. I have never felt so unwelcomed at check-in as I did from this hotel. I am unfortunately still here because can't change hotels with work. Would never stay here again even if it was free. The place is dirty and very dated nothing like pictures on website. Extremely misleading at best. I asked if they offered any benefits like a room upgrade for diamond members. I was give a rude no after the staff member rolled her eyes. She continued to be rude and disrespectful and acted like she hated guests for bothering her. I asked about the free water as a Hilton Diamond member was told they were out. She proceeded to hand the people behind me water. I just let it go and went to the dungeon they call a room. It smells literally like vomit. I called down to request a room change. Was told they had no rooms available. Mi d you this hotel at like 20 % occupied. I went down stairs requested to speak with a manager. Spoke to Seth Sous who acted like he could care less about anything I had to say. I am shocked how rude this hotels staff are. Never offered to change rooms just anything else and tells me enjoy my stay. This is absolutely the worst guest experience I have ever had. Plenty of other choices. This place will never get my business ever again.

Rodeway Inn Carson - Los Angeles South

We stayed here before our cruise, looking for a hotel that was under the $200+++ prices in Long Beach. This hotel was only about 15 minutes away from the port. Very basic and budget. When we checked in, we were surprised to find the office closed. We had to ring an outside bell and wait for the manager. It looked to be family run, and I could smell food cooking in the back. Once greeted, check in was friendly and efficient. The hotel is very small, with 2 floors and only 2 staircases. All entrances are from the outside. My suitcase was quite the workout to get up the steps, lol. When we checked in there were no bottom floor rooms available. The room itself was quite large, with 2 queen beds and updated bathroom that had granite countertops. It had a very musty smell from the air conditioner by the window. Lots of wear and tear, beds had soft sheets but hard, springy mattresses. There was an upholstered chair and an office chair. The upholstered chair was in bad need of a cleaning. There is no closet, and no coffee maker. The room did have a microwave and refrigerator. On the good side of things, the motel was in a safe area, close to a mall with an IKEA. The pictures you see on the website are close to the way it looks, but there is lots of wear and tear. It’s ok for 1 night.
