The two men that run the place are the best! So nice and helpful . Gave us late breakfast because we sleep in. The Best arepas in Cartagena !! Small, quaint, need bug spray and water shoes. Beach lovely . Area shuts down pretty early so make sure you stock up on drinks and food. I asked for an extra fan they gave us one . Asked for a bottle of my preferred liquor they brought me one. I asked for help with my luggage they found someone. Take a boat there and back I do not suggest driving because the parking lot and the walk there is a struggle. I would go back . I paid for a massage the ladies walk right up to you. There is a lot of vendors but when you say no they go away it's not that big of a deal.

Beautiful place with great people … we enjoyed 4 days at Soy Local Baru with Jose and his crew … it was great that we could arrange trips with the own boat to the Islas Rosario (thanxxs Andres who took us) instead of being packed up with others on the small tour boats! Food was also excellent and freshly prepared - from breakfast to dinner .. thanks to Gabriela, Jeiner and Yasney 😘. The place can definitely be recommended … Jose arranges everything you need from transport, luggage transport, trips, …

Éviter Playa Bianca-Baru… DANGEREUX
Nous ne sommes jamais arrivés à l’hôtel
Notre taxi a été pris d’assaut par des jeunes en moto qui voulait le stopper. Cela s’est produit au moment où nous avons quitté la route centrale pour emprunter un chemin non bétonné rejoignant la zone de la plage. Nous avons eu très peur!!!! Nous sommes retournés en arrière vers Carthagene. J’ai écris à l’hôtel et je n’ai reçu aucune réponse par rapport à notre inconvenue.

Por favor no se queden acá. El hotel no cuenta con condiciones para hospedar. Se va la luz y no efectúan reembolso. Por favor piensen dos veces en quedarse. Llevo demasiado tiempo esperando un reembolso y el hotel ha intentado evadir su responsabilidad

Se debe programar el transporte con anterioridad y no llevar maleta grande. La ubicación es excelente. La comida deliciosa. La atención por parte de José y la cocinera espectacular, el desayuno balanceado. La camarera es un poco malgeniada.
