Hotel Casa Sonara

Good location, fresh renovation, stylish and quiet. The pool upstairs is nice.

Great services, staff were kind and positive.

The staff was incredible, bedrooms were clean af and the pool is awesome to stay after a full day walking in the center of the city which temperature can be up to 40C! HIGHLY recommend. So close to everything and far from the crowd!

A superb location, excellent and modern room, clean, with a beautiful hot tub and pool on the rooftop overlooking Cartagena and the fort. The only place to stay in Cartagena.

Simply astonishing. The view from the rooftop pool was truly something special—extraordinary in a way that’s hard to put into words. The staff were absolutely amazing, warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming throughout the entire stay. The room itself felt like a hidden luxury gem—beautifully designed, spotless, and incredibly clean. It had that quiet, understated elegance that makes you feel instantly comfortable, like you’ve discovered something special tucked away from everything else. I can’t recommend this place enough. It’s one of those experiences that stays with you, and I’m already looking forward to coming back and enjoying it all over again.

Our stay was very pleasant. Location was walkable to night life, tour pick ups.

Beautiful boutique hotel in great location. Amazing little rooftop pool to cool down during the midday sun !

yes very clean and peaceful stay, and the staff is bery helpful

A wonderful little hotel on the edge of the Getsemani but without the noise and only a 2 minute walk to the madness of the city itself. Staff were amazing, breakfast was perfectly fine and the rooms were a high spec. Would not hesitate to recommend this place. It’s only been open a short while but I hope it stays long enough for us to visit again. This place is a gem if you want to be near but not right in the middle of old Cartagena.
