This is by far a great place in the caribbean to relax, disconnect, and…… scuba dive! 1 hour boat trip from Cartagena, I have always wanted to come to Majagua. Dream came finally true! My expectations were over fulfilled. Much more than expected. Staff is so kind. Needless to name Joey, Jader, Jose, Eder, Julio (security), and many others who made our stay absolutely fantastic! Food: Excellent. Rooms: I have stayed at suite. Just fantastic. The place is great, very spacious, and top of the line amenities considering this is an island. Scuba diving: the staff from Diving Planet is top of the line. Junior, Vicho, Alejo are great. Scuba diving is pretty recommended at Islas del Rosario. Warm water, very few (if not zero) currents and great coral reefs make this a great place to dive. Not so good: i) no pool ii) very limited beach

After 13 days of traveling through Colombia we had three wonderful days at hotel San Pedro de Majugua. Two nice beaches, one with and one without music. The five stars are for the rooms and the kitchen, the food was delicious. We went to swim at 7pm in the dark where plankton was, it lights up when moving the water. We also went for snorkeling.

This place is magical. EVERY SINGLE staff member of this hotel is amazing. They give such great service, always happy, always ready to serve us for whatever we needed. I recommend this place with my eyes closed. And the food, the food is amazing, it is delicious, so many things to choose from and the amenities are just amazing. I am truly grateful to have to this place, and i will forever come back. Worth every penny. Dont think twice about it, you will not regret coming here.

Beautiful experience. Everyone on the island at Hotel Majagua was there for you and to help however possible. Plenty of activities offered from the Hotel. My wife and I enjoyed our honeymoon here and got to experience swimming in a lagoon with the bioluminescence! You can bike ride around the entire island, stopping wherever you’d like. Snorkeling was beautiful at a very close island, and they also offer scuba diving (not enough time!!). Definitely recommend!!!

Best vacation solo retreat
I went to take a break from work and it was an amazing experience, the food, the staff and the vendors. Somo local dogs hanged arroun and are very friendly. Love the fact that is very quiet at night.

Our island paradise for 5 days! When the staff heard we were on honeymoon they upgraded us to the best room in the hotel. The room was clean and cleaned well every day. The restaurant was good and had some variety. The restaurants in the village were closed as far as we could see (maybe because we were there out of season) so we had all our meals in the hotel which was a bit unexpected and a little repetitive and expensive but the food was all good so we didn't mind. The gems of this place were the staff! Diana and Isabella and the gentleman whose name we didn't get were welcoming. One of the waiters at the beach bar was our dj for an afternoon which was great fun! All the restaurant staff knew us by the time we left and looked after us so well and were friendly and warm. The cleaning staff were great, as were the boat captains. Such a great team. Minor thing - the coffee is not good! Overall a lovely room in a comfortable hotel on a Caribbean island, what more could you want?

Very nice room, big and clean. Wifi was stable and good close to the lobby. But the activities proposed were a bit disappointing : broken paddle, bikes without brakes, beach beds quite old,…for the standing and the price of the hotel we expected much better

Beautiful place, excellent rooms with comfy beds, restaurant and bar with plenty of choice and good quality cuisine, friendly and helpful staff. Great place for a short break with children with plenty of activities...................
