The room was arranged as a corner room, and the balcony looked out from an oblique perspective.
There is no turndown service, the reason is that it is only for one night, and no turndown service is provided. But housekeeping came in and unplugged our charging outlet and put the toilet lid back on.
The service at the front desk is also very poor, there is no greeting at all.
The person who waited for the parking lot saw the guests coming and was still on the phone.
Overall, this is the worst of the 5 star hotels.

This was our first visit to this property. I can't say enough about how efficient and endearing the staff was. Chistoph, the guest experience director, was one of the most impressive hotel staffers I've encountered. He knew what we needed before we knew! Another stand out was Riza, who was charming and always somehow there when we needed him. These two gentlemen really understand the meaning of hospitality and made our visit outstanding. The rooms and facilities are nicely appointed and very clean. I do see some maintenance issues, but nothing that would alarm me. Housekeeping was great and non-invasive. Food in Belvedere was quite good, and the spa is not to be missed, especially the pool circuit. Great experience, great people, great view and a great town!

Unfortunately in major need of renovation. Outdoor pool is very dirty even has stuff growing inside of it. The rooms have stained rugs and weird smell. The hygiene and cleaning need a massive make over. We will not come back until this is done. Food and drinks very poor quality and extremely slow service. The breakfast serving has a weird smell about it unfortunately.

Lovely hotel with really nice staff. Breakfast service needs a little improvement. Food is great but waiting for tea and coffee all the time is frustrating. Room was really spacious with lovely comfy beds.

The Grande Real Villa Italia is a beautiful hotel, with great views of the water. Across the board the staff was professional and the service was 5 star. I stayed around 10 days and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Excellent location and beautiful hotel. Service was very friendly and attentive. Short walk to town. Our room was amazing with a perfect ocean view. Will return here next time in Portugal!

A charming hotel 🏨 with great location and sea 🌊 view. Warm service and amazing facilities. The pool 🏊♂️ area is awesome. However, the Wi-Fi is very bad and in the rooms almost non functioning which is unacceptable for a 5 star hotel. They must upgrade. Also the cocktails 🍹 in the bar are a sad story. Must improve. Otherwise a very nice stay.
