I stayed in this hotel only one night and I stayed in a "classic" room. Even if no part of the hotel is truly classic: conceived in an original and colorful way, every corner offers a discovery to the eyes. Not having much time, I didn't go around the artistic rooms and I favored a day on the Lampare beach, placed right in front of the structure. The hotel also offers a beach service. Excellent breakfast in a veranda on the beach itself. The staff is courteous and at the height of an international welcome. Only the bathrooms: in my opinion they should be renovated both to eliminate the shower curtain, now anachronistic, and to improve the position of the bathroom fixtures (the toilet, literally glued to the wall, was uncomfortable to use). On the other hand, an ode to mattresses: super-comfortable bed.

For those who want to immerse themselves in art it is a beautiful experience. The rooms are all different from each other. We slept in Sigismund's tower. I understand that it is a choice not to provide some typical hotel services such as TV, air conditioner (not present only in ours due to the typicality of the room but do not suffer from the heat) but I believe that art and services can coexist in an organized way without letting go the artistic experience. At least the mini bar maybe! The room is very suggestive: it is a pity that the closing of the hatch is blocked but the wind coming from above is pleasant. The restaurant was not active. Good Ayurvedic massage service.

If you pass by Tusa, get away from this hotel. They use art as a justification for the absence of essential prerogatives in a hotel. Poor breakfast, bad cleaning, organization not like a three-star hotel. Don't go there at all.

I stayed at the atelier on the sea last Saturday (May 14, 2022). I had the pleasure of meeting Maestro Presti, who immediately proved to be extremely kind, humble and helpful. It is extraordinary to hear his introduction before visiting the art chambers the next day. My room had a wonderful sea view balcony, comfortable bed and stunning paintings. It is not a simple stay in a hotel, it is an experience, which I imagine can be even stronger if you decide to stay overnight in an art room.

I write this review after a week of my stay and after reading the other reviews (with a timely response that is not always timely and courteous from the hotel management! - if modern art is to excite, those who have not tried the emotions of others or desired by the artist-) and personally lived the experience. It is really difficult to review a hotel that aims to offer art and services without falling into the ambition of wanting to be an art critic or the narrowness of just being a patron. Let's start with the booking: I found extreme availability and patience as I was in possession of a voucher that was given to me but that I had expired ..... despite this, I was allowed to use it within a further 6 months and I was even given the opportunity to enjoy it for the May 1st bridge (I think very few hotels would have done it!). Now if the hotel is chosen because you want to go to a seaside location or you are looking for an overnight stay while on vacation I think you can be a little disappointed ...... there is no secret of the absence of classic hotel comforts (minibar-TV-sometimes even bidet. The latter present in some rooms so just express when booking their needs and are very available to find the solution that can best satisfy each guest). where our channels are almost never found?) and allowing couples / families, groups to experience those corridors full of quotes, paintings and art installations, perhaps comparing ourselves on what you feel or simply immerse yourself in the beauty of the sea and nature to which the artistic work / room frames. What would the wi-fi be used for? (And then we don't all have our data traffic by now?) If essential for work or family reasons, there is in the hall ... then you have to let yourself go to the experience with the people with whom you have the opportunity or have chosen to share it rather than having the present need to always be elsewhere and with others. Personally I used my cell phone a lot ..... yes but to photograph in an attempt to capture all that enchants of that place. In vain attempt, we must go and let all the senses be able to capture what it offers! Beds not all conventional but comfortable and huge. Alternative bathrooms but you have to let yourself go and live the experience rather than wanting to bring them into the patterns and routines to which we are obsessively trapped. colors, from phrases or as I did with my son (11 years) to hunt for what each of us seemed most attractive or likeable or valid

Bella struttura a Castel di tusa, nata dall'intraprendenza del Maestro Presti. Struttura che si affaccia direttamente su una spiaggia di ciottoli, le camere hanno uno stile particolare 24 sul totale di 40, presentano ognuna uno stile diverso dalle altre. Queste 24 camere sono state ideate e progettate da artisti vari dove ognuno ha trasmesso la sua impronta indelebile. Sta poi nell'ospite, viverle a modo proprio, secondo la propria percezione Gestori davvero unici ,gentili e molto preparati. La domenica è prevista una visita a tutte le stanze a tema, con la spiegazione del tema realizzato dall'artista. Sicuramente da non perdere, ne vale la pena.

Semplicemente una meraviglia, unico in Sicilia, (forse al mondo) é un viaggio ed un intimo percorso nell'arte e nella bellezza. Che possa rimanere intatto ancora a lungo, una chimera. Grazie per questo immenso dono che hai fatto a tutti noi.
