Ma Petite Auberge

"Ma Petite Auberge in Castellane is an older building and you will notice that inside. The reception was friendly and there is a parking space in the garden accessible by the back street. The hotel has a atmosphere and the rooms have been modernised but still have a little left behind, for example, there are no additional stop contacts with or with USB connections, there is a desk but there are no stop contacts around. We had a double bed, a good bed, a very good sleep, we had a room at the back there it's quieter. The breakfast was quite certain if you were to take the buffet breakfast and not the express that it is cheaper. The hotel did not offer dinner but they had notified it in advance."

"Bed and breakfast located just outside the city of Castellane, with spacious and clean rooms and a good quality/price ratio. They recently installed a small pool but when we were there the water was cold and not particularly clean. The location is not the best because to get to the city you have to walk a good quarter of an hour on foot on a not particularly exceptional road. Negative aspects are the fact that breakfast is not included (a bed and breakfast MUST have breakfast included) and the lack of common services such as a refrigerator to put your things in (we had some cheese and we had to ask the owner to put it in their refrigerator)"

"Beautifully located, quiet site on the banks of the Ardeche. Try to book a riverside pitch. Well maintained by friendly helpful staff. There’s a pleasant bar/resto fifteen minutes riverside walk away. Make sure to visit the amazing caves just a few minutes drive away."
