Honestly, I don’t understand the positive reviews. This place is simply terrible. Upon arrival, the Reception staff was polite, but nothing special. We booked the most expensive, Premium apartment, but it was absolutely disgusting. Very dirty, the walls were stained, the bedding smelled bad, there was a strong urine smell everywhere. I couldn’t believe my eyes. The staff at the pools and the restaurant were rude and unfriendly, clearly showing they disliked the guests. Breakfast: I have no words to describe the quality. Whoever offers this to guests who pay a significant amount of money I would make them eat it every day. One morning, the milk was spoiled and sour. I told a staff member, who insisted it was fresh. I asked them to please drink a glass, and instead, of course, they poured it out… Disgusting. The grate around the pool is also dangerous, with gaps in many places, which could cause serious injury. We paid nearly €1500 for only 5 nights. The value for money is terrible. The only good thing is the location just 7–10 minutes by car to Gardaland.

The apartment was clean but no kettle, toaster or iron available. It's remote and uphill so car is necessary. Reception staff were great. Restaurant/Bar is very poor in both food choices and service, if you are half board and it's closed at 10.30pm. No entertainment for adults. Overall, if you don't swim, and don't have children, there is nothing to do.

The medium pool is very dangerous for kids , there no guidelines on pool depth, the life gaurd was busy on their phone. Rooms was fine but basic Very hard to get a taxi anywhere and if we did we have to wait hours. It is in the middle of nowhere, especially when it’s self catering. The only plus was we enjoyed the foam party on Friday.

This is a good place for families with children under 10. The three pools offer a choice for swimmers and non-swimmers alike. The children’s entertainment team work hard to keep kids entertained, especially appreciated at dinner. The Friday foam party was fantastic. Downside is that it sits on top of a hill (no view). There is a good supermarket within walking distance, but it is a trek back up the hill with wine, water, juice etc. A car is fine for shopping, but difficult to park in the lakeside villages. Gardaland is within walking distance, if you can persuade the kids. Reception staff are very helpful generally and will order taxis. Taxis are reasonably priced but getting one back to the village can be challenging. Local transport is cheap, Verona is a short train ride away €3. We booked half board. Food is OK but not very exciting. The kids seemed happy. Several good restaurants in Peschiera but issue with taxis.

Techno music was played all day so loud so no one could hear their kids, or talk to each other. Would never come back or recommend this place to anyone. The apartment was okey the bathrooms could use an upgrade, small kitchens but functional still

Honest review. I’ve been staying at The Belvedere Village for a week now, and still have one week left. Some things are not controllable like the weather or incidents like sickness, so I’ll take these two things out of the review to be fair, since we’ve been hit with both at the very start of this vacation. We have booked two different apartments. A family, and a superior, identical in size, but differently built. The family ones, which funny enough caters to family’s, have a fridge at the size of a bucket, and no dishwasher, which could be really helpful when you’re 6+ people. The Superior has a full size fridge, and a dishwasher. Makes absolutely no sense. Our apartment, 186, lost the handle on the front door, the twister for the lock, and the shelves inside the fridge is broken and hanging on to their dear life’s. On arrival day, the floor was wet upon entering the apt, but so slippery we had to dry it over with a towel, just to find out the towel was black as in dirty. The bathroom has electrical cords hanging under the mirror (not child friendly), there’s absolutely 0 (Zero) WiFi coverage inside the apartments, and lightning consists of 1 bulb in each room, no dimming, no reading lights, nothing. No kettle for boiled water or toaster in the family apt either. Is it all that bad? No. I had higher expectations though. What’s good? The staff around the resort are friendly, good welcoming at the reception, and the restaurant at the main pool is actually quite good and very well priced. The area around the resort is great with lots of grocery shopping, outlets and restaurants, and short drives to lovely cities as Milano, Bergamo, Verona, Bologna, and of course, Lake Garda. 1 star for the staff at the resort who plays with the kids everyday. 1 star for the area. 1 BIG star for the boss lady at the restaurant on site, she’s super sweet and friendly. A half star for the resort, which could be a lot better in my honest opinion.

Stayed for a week in August with a family group. Hotel is too far from Peschiera to walk and as others have said and if you do it’s the side of a very dangerous road. Jet2 should be advising this in their advert so guests are aware there is nowhere they can walk to. Had to pay for taxis constantly in/out of town. My parents are 70 and would never have managed the hill or the walk. This should be made clear. Reception not manned all the time and if you have a problem there is no one willing to help. Complete power cut in apartment and reception closed therefore no one would assist until the next morning. Check out was early and reception not open so unable to pay resort tax until they open - why not just take the payment on check in? Rather than have the rude security advising you that you must stay and pay - assuming I would run off rather than pay the €2 per night room tax. He literally stood over us until a receptionist came in early. Made to feel very uncomfortable. Staff on the whole very unfriendly and rude from check in to check out. Apartment had two working plugs which was a nightmare and none in the bedroom. A family of four sharing two plugs was not easy. Beds never changed during the weeks stay. Fresh towels thrown on the sofa once during the week. Bed settee in living room had leg missing! Other rooms had pool towels we were never given any even after asking. They don’t even give you enough toilet roll for your stay and you have to purchase some from a shop. Room very basic and the beds are literally a strange camping bed base placed on some wooden storage cubes - not great if staying a week. No kettle or oven so unable to cook in room unless on hob or microwave. On site shop sells hardly anything and fresh bread we only managed to get once as either sold out or not had any. Pool areas are lovely and these are kept clean. Sun loungers very good with a canopy for your head. Beware they close pool if there is a storm and then when brilliant sunshine later refuse to open it again!!! Lifeguards were apparently refusing to come back to work - not what you pay to go on holiday for - no use of pool. Breakfast awful - not worth €8 per day charge. Never any plates, never refill the token bit of hot food which is scrambled eggs and some warm ham. Staff rude in breakfast too. Food nice in on site restaurant and reasonable prices. Wouldn’t return as to sum up, apartment not cleaned or comfortable enough for a weeks stay, staff extremely unhelpful and some very rude, location of hotel too far from anything so costs a fortune in taxis.

Apartments are very clean but not very well equipped for self catering apartments. No toaster and no kettle and fridge wasnt very cold.Locks can be opened from inside by small children as the door only has a turn and release lock. The pool is fantastic for children but we were a bit stumped that the pool staff told us off for leaving our towels on our loungers when we returned from lunch. We were only gone 2 hours at most but there are 7 of us so it takes a while for everyone to have lunch, especially the younger children. Yet other people leave towels on loungers all day and only spent an hour or so by the pool! I'm not sure what the specific problem was there? And lastly the biggest downfall of this resort is the location. If you are happy to stay within the complex entirely for the duration of your stay then its fine, however the only way to get to and from there is by taxi (or a car if you have one). The village comes off a bypass/ dual carriageway so there is no access on foot to and from there to anywhere! so you need to pay for taxis and its not cheap. 15 euro during the day and 20 euro at night but the journey would only be around 15 mins on foot if you were able to. Most of the staff here were very lovely. There was a few with a less than helpful attitude. Our stay was pleasant enough but I would book somewhere closer to the town so you can just walk about and explore. Belvedere village could be great if they considered running mini buses or something similar to shuttle guests back and forward, since it is in such a remote place.

Just returned from a fantastic week at Belvedere Village. We are a family of 5 with three young children and we loved every minute of it. We have been to Pescheria Del Garda before and stayed in an overcrowded campsite with poor amenities and we were looking for something smaller in the same location with more of a hotel feel. This was perfect. We had read the reviews and knew that the location wouldn’t be the easiest for us to walk into the centre of Pescheria so we simply ordered a taxi each evening and for 10 euros we would get out half way and walk the last ten minutes to the centre and enjoy the beautiful scenery. There was no fight to get sun loungers in a morning which was so refreshing. There were plenty to go around and they were so spaced out. The kids loved the pool and the slides so much and enjoyed so much space to play in the water. They also loved the huge selection of ice creams and snacks at the restaurant and at only 2 euros per ice cream they had a different flavour every day. We had a 2 bedroom self catering apartment that was spacious and clean with good air conditioning. We had the apartment cleaned every day we were there and so many fresh towels not only for the apartment but for the sun loungers too. The hotel was nice and quiet. There are a few supermarkets only a 10 minute walk away which is nice and easy. We had an amazing holiday and even enjoyed an overnight stay in Venice half way through the week which was incredible and so easy to do as the train station is only a 5 minute drive away. The other evenings we spent dining at the most spectacular restaurants by the lake. We will definitely return to Belvedere Village as the location is perfect for us. Don’t read the bad reviews but be prepared that you will need a car or a taxi to get into the centre which for us was absolutely fine and all part of the adventure.
