One of our most enjoyable stay during our 12 days trip around Sicily. Upon landing at Catania airport, we drove all the way to Dimora Cottanera, arriving after dark. Stayed here for three nights and weren’t bored. Excellent ambience, great views, good amenities, nice and strong hot water, very comfortable beds, very good breakfast. The infinity pool was too cold in November, but we did enjoy the sauna and the outdoor bath. Credits to Serena who was really nice and helpful. She arranged our Mt Etna trip and wine tasting.

A very tranquil winery, planted with grapes and olives. The original winemaking workshop has been converted into a small showroom and restaurant. A highlight is the glass enclosure offering views of the entire vineyard and the distant volcano. Enjoy wine tasting and conversation inside, watching the changing scenery at afternoon and dusk.

I definitely give this one full marks, the equipment is very good, and the photos are superb 🤣 Although my partner is a bad teammate, it is very suitable for slow living, because my husband likes running, we also went to climb the extinct volcano over there. Our English is not good, and the locals said there was a mountain pass but we couldn't find it, so we gave up and climbed the volcano with our bare hands. The process was very tiring, but it was really beautiful and worth it!

The whole experience was superb at Dimora Cottanera. The rooms, the staff, the food and the exclusive ambience. Definitely do the wine tasting, they were delicious and well-explained.

This place is one of a kind, if you want a relaxing break with great food and even better wine you must come here. It will be best to access via car so you can explore local towns as it is quite remote. A big thank you to all the staff as everyone is so kind and helpful, it feel like you are being looked after by a family. Will defiantly be coming back in the future

This is a beautiful hotel. Would highly recommend having dinner here, lovely setting to drink the excellent wine whilst overlooking the vineyards it came from, with an absolutely stunning view. It is a small hotel and was a bit short staffed when we went. The pool was beautiful. I wouldn’t necessarily have wanted to stay longer than 1 night because there wasn’t much to do at the hotel but it was fabulous for 1 night. The room (deluxe double) was spacious and really nicely decorated. They also offered complementary drinking water and filled up our drinking bottles before we left which is always a plus.
