The snugs are spacious, and the views are great. Accommodation is very clean.well presented and nicely furnished. All have their own outdoor seating area accessed via sliding doors. . Some have a private hot tub. Snug supplied with fresh milk,water, and complimentary cookies. Very comfortable bed,large modern shower room. Small hall to store out door gear. There is a fridge and kettle. The main drawback for us was that there are no cooking facilities or on-site eating options. You can preorder continental breakfast and meat/cheese board/,wine. We were given a complimentary shuttle to a local bar/restaurant, which was great and worked for us. If we had access to a shared kutchen/barbecue we would have considered staying longer. Overall a great experience.

Absolutely stunning location! Backed up by Ist class accommodation. We attended for a wedding and couldn’t have been more impressed with setting, service and food. I would recommend for a base to explore the beautiful scenery in the area as well. Overall 100% recommended

Laggan Sea View Snugs exceeded all expectations. The accommodations were absolutely first class (beautifully designed, private, and incredibly comfortable). Our room had both a hot tub and a bathtub, each with stunning panoramic views of the sea and surrounding countryside — the kind of setting you don’t want to leave. The water pressure was great (often a rarity in remote stays), and every detail in the space felt thoughtful and high-end. It’s the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern luxury. What really made the stay exceptional was Duncan, the owner. He went above and beyond to make us feel welcome — even giving us a lift in the shuttle to dinner at the Murray Arms (which is also owned by Laggan and is delicious). That kind of hospitality is rare and deeply appreciated. This is a truly special property in a breathtaking location. We’ll definitely be back — and can’t recommend it highly enough.

The overall experience was awesome. We booked the hot tub and although it was cloudy the views were great. We decided to order the cheese and meat platter to enjoy the snug as we had only booked 1 night. Wow more food than we thought. We even took some cheese back with us. 5 star accomodation. Book it now

This was a little piece of paradise - just peaceful bliss with the most comfy and tasteful surroundings - inside and out. The Murray Arms option for eating was great too; the overall service is high quality. Thank you Sinitta. There were so many places to explore - I loved the beach at the bottom of the road. Thank you… see you again.

The snug was beautiful and clean. Bed wasn't comfortable unfortunately. TV needs replaced, lines on screen and remote doesn't work properly. Patio door was very hard to open and close. Unfortunately the hot tub area really let down. Just a plastic hot tub, plonked in some sub-base. Could be lovely with the simple addition of some paving around it. Shame as it could be perfect with some tweaks.

Just back from a NY stay at the Seaview Snugs at Laggan. We stayed in 2018 and haven’t been back since - what a difference! We had breakfast, lunch and dinner at Gather and all were great! Good food and excellent service. An absolute credit to the owners. The decor, attention to detail was so nice and we loved the Christmas touch. We stayed at the Heather Hut which was ideal and the homemade flapjacks on arrival were amazing! The only one very small negative would be the pillows. All in all a really lovely, relaxing stay - thank you to all the team!

Lovely lodge with a sea view. Built and positioned with luxury and privacy in mind. Beautiful accessories; Comfy bed and luxurious bathroom with lovely ‘smellies’. Gather is a fabulous place to eat. We had a lovely breakfast and evening meal. Gather is a 5 minute walk from the lodge. Nearby Kirkcudbright has bespoke shops and galleries. The museum was quite unexpected. The coast is spectacular and many safe bathing spots with clean water . I can understand why they want to make this a National park.
