As a repeat customer, I would like to sincerely thank ALL the Champagne Castle Hotel STAFF very much for ensuring our 4th visit was a 100% success. Marc (GM) immediately made us feel most welcome throughout our stay whilst engaging with his guests. If you enjoy great accommodation, hospitality, fantastic food as well as spectacular scenic views, this is without question THE place to be. The hotel also has a beautiful thatched roof chapel on site. Our wedding took place here on our 2nd visit in 2019. Champagne Caste Hotel is an exceptional special venue for a wedding and reception. The hotel wedding team were a dream to work with. Everything was perfect!

A beautiful hotel with amazing views of the mountains.breakfast,lunch and dinner was absolutely delicious and a lot of variety.Desserts were my highlights.It had such a beautiful Chrismassy vibe all around the hotel.The entertainment was on point... awesome work Rogers.The staff were all so friendly and accommodating.

Our favourite holiday destination. Our home away from home. As always the staff are fantastic, friendly, kind and helpful. The food is bountiful and super tasty. The little upgrades and new signage within the hotel grounds are a great addition. We look forward to returning soon

The hotel is in a very good condition with a great management team who engages with the customers and manage the staff well. The food was divine with good choice of meal options (Apply pie was the best ever!) The room was clean and in good condition. The bed and cushions were great! We'll definitely be back!

Amazing resort with stunning views of the mountains, great food, nice and relaxing time to spend with family and friends. Will definitely visit again. One of my favourite spots in the drakensberg. If you looking for a weekend getaway champagne castle is the right place.

I arrived at the hotel on the 07 April and was welcome by very friendly reception staff that arranged for our luggage to be taken from the vehicle to the rooms. Seeing that lunch will be finishing soon they also recommended that we have lunch before settling into our rooms. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. It was very peaceful resting there during the day. The meals were exceptionally well prepared and tasty. The manager Mr Mohomad was always available in the dining area, making sure the guest was comfortable, and the food was to everybody's satisfaction. Mr Mohomad also made my stay a very memorial one, as it was my birthday on the 08 April and he set a table specially for us, with a bottle of Champagne on the house. That made my special day even most memorable. Such a manager makes one to come back again to visit your place.

We typically visit another Drakensberg hotel each year, but due to circumstances, we chose to stay at the Champagne Castle Hotel this time. It was a good chance to compare the two, and I must say, we were very pleasantly surprised. The location is stunning, and the hotel grounds meticulously maintained. Rooms are comfortable, the restaurant meals very delicious, and great communal areas to rest and enjoy the peace. WiFi in the rooms would be an added bonus, but on reflection, it was an opportunity to detach from email, whatsapp and social media. The staff was the highlight for us. We met some amazing, talented members of the team. I can’t name them all, but a few who went the extra mile for us, included deputy manager Gabrielle (what an amazing man with an fascinating life story), Phaka and Ayanda (excellent service in the restaurant), chef Grant (made the most delicious melk tert and peppermint crisp tert for us), and who can forget Boh and Sthembuso in the bar! Thanks for a great stay!

Loved everything about our stay - Accommodation - clean & neat, food - AMAZING - We want some peace & quiet & tranquil time away & that is exactly what we got Staff friendly & very professional & always willing to assist no matter what Will most certainly be going back next year Only 1 suggestion & that is to put aircon's in the standard rooms

Mountain facing room with the partial view were really perfect. Food was excellent and staff very accommodating. Had an engagement party there and staff made a great effort to make the occasion extra special. Super cosy fireplace in the pub area on the cold winter nights.
