"Firstly - the previous reviews seem to be from a long time ago. As you approach the motel it looks very much 1908s and that's what it turned out to be. The guy on reception was friendly enough and we went off to our room. It's a usual motel room with the normal facilities you'd expect. The decor and bed/chair was dated. We found that the bedsheets were clean and the bathroom and towels were clean. In fact we had a good night's sleep on the bed and pillows. The room itself would have benefitted from a full clean but, as I said, the essentials had been taken care of. The 4* ******* rating says "very good", I couldn't go to that, hence the 3* rating. "

"Place is a wreck. Held together with duct tape. Doors don’t lock bathroom is disgusting cold water leaks under sink leaks. Sheets smell of disinfectant masked with air freshener. Didn’t even stay overnight left instead at 2 am because it was unbearable."
