La Rocca Camping Village

We have just returned from here and had such a fantastic holiday! We booked one of the Charme 2 chalets and I have to say it was fine..small but a nice base. Very close to a noisy road (which was thankful not as noisy at night) so if you can, try and choose chalets further away from the road where you can’t hear the traffic. Two comments for the staff is please put in a long mirror, sharing one small bathroom mirror was not ideal and secondly a toaster would have been a bonus. The ‘top’ swimming pool was absolutely stunning, one of the best I've seen for a shared pool. Lovely surroundings, clean, bar for drinks and snacks and beautiful water! The whole camping village was so well equipped and everyone was so lovely and it seemed quite a calm place. You can exit into the lake via two gates (you get bands with a chip so you can exit and enter freely) and turn left for Bardolino (lovely 20 mins stroll to the main square) or right to Garda (slightly shorter stroll) with bars and restaurants on the way to both. We hired bikes from La Rocca (in the shop opposite the supermarket) and it was really simple and quick. The paths by the lake are perfect for cycling (flat and smooth) and our boys (12 & 9) loved it too. We also hired paddle boards and kayaks from surf point which is also part of La Rocca. Again never simple and very helpful staff. There was nightly entertainment for kids that started at 9pm for 1 hour but we were always out eating dinner in the nearby towns. The Caneva waterpark was BRILLIANT! Really great rides (queues were approx 30 mins and in the shade mostly) the crazy river ride was hilarious - you have to try it to know what I mean!! All in all, I absolutely loved this holiday and La Rocca really was a fab base for families.

We did not stay at the campsite but used the excellent water sports facilities that were on site. Matteo was friendly, helpful and informative. We found the rental of the kayaks and Sup boards to be reasonably priced. Thank you very much. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for Matteo!

The daily Aquagymnastics with Lima was my favourite experience on the whole holiday. He‘s got such a great vibe and a wild energy. I‘d do this over and over again.

Lima’s aqua gymnastics sessions were such a vibe! Super fun, great energy, and actually a good workout. Loved the music and his positive vibes. Would totally do it again!

This is a gorgeous campsite, really clean and well run. Loved the Roccalux maxi caravan and the view of the lake from the caravan and the pool. Also fab location beside bardolino and Garda with a bus stop just outside to go to other parts of the lake. Recommended.

Amazing place to hoilday. The staff are friendly welcoming and nothing is an issue. Accommodation to suit all family sizes. The pools are great with a slide and pool games throughout the day. The restaurant has amazing food with staff always going above and beyond. Special mention to Beatrice she just brightens your day. The owners of the restaurant are very friendly and like to make sure you have what you need these people know the true meaning of excellent hospitality. I can't wait to return for our 4th year in 2025.
