Wow. Where to start? We were picked up from the airport by our hosts and were welcomed with a glass of local grappa and a tour of the complex. The apartment is incredibly clean, well-appointed and beautifully designed. The balcony is large and shaded, and the kitchen has everything you need (including things like bin liners, cooking oil, salt and pepper, instant coffee and tea). There is a freezer compartment for ice etc in the fridge. The bed was large and we had the best sleep thanks to the AC. The shower is powerful. The pool is very clean and there are enough loungers for everyone. As it is a self catering apartment, there is an option to do laundry. We bought some laundry detergent and made use of this to freshen up our bathroom towels and clothes. Everything dried quickly on the airer on the balcony. The walk down to the waterside is an easy 10 minutes. The latter part is steep, and due to the very hot weather we used Bolt or Uber to come back up, but we did pass people walking back up. It cost circa €7. Cavtat itself is stunning and the apartment is a lovely base. We took a boat one day to Dubrovnik €40 return for 2 people), but found it cheaper and quicker for 2 people to take an Uber when we returned on our last night (€32 return). I cannot recommend this apartment enough. The hosts were both friendly and knowledgeable and always on hand to help. On our last day they held our bags and we were allowed to use the pool and the outdoor shower and indoor WC to freshen up before leaving. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

Just back from our stay at Villa Elena. Ilija & Patricia were the perfect hosts. They were friendly and gave us a lovely warm welcome and provided lots of local info too. They also live onsite . We stayed in apartment 3 which was just like the pictures. It was modern, spacious, clean and had everything we needed. Whilst it is in a hilly area, its a 10min walk down to the waterfront in Cavtat and approx 15min back up. If not keen to walk back there are taxis and the local No10 bus has a stop really close to the apartment which you can also get on should you wish to explore local places and Dubrovnik. There is a well stocked supermarket just 5mins from the apartments. Cavtat is beautiful with a good choice of restaurants and bars. We loved our stay. Definitely recommend and look forward to returning.

Stayed in Apartment 1 for 5 nights, so clean, spacious and comfortable. Well equipped kitchen, lots of towels, powerful showers and comfy beds. Fantastic balcony and pool area. Owners were so friendly and the airport transfer was really convenient. We were able to check out and leave our bags on our last day until our flight home. Great location with a bus stop close by taking you to Dubrovnik. It was a 1km walk downhill to Cavtat where there was plenty of choice for restaurants and cafes. There was a supermarket 5 mins walk away and a good fast food restaurant which was handy if you didn’t want to go all the way down to the harbour. We loved our stay and would highly recommend!

Stayed here 3 years ago and stayed here again this year, and will be going back. That's the best review anyone can give. We had a lovely week again. Very clean and modern apartments with BBQ/outdoor kitchen and an infinity pool. It is close to Cavtat, which has wonderful resturants and bars. The sea is crystal clear and warm for swimming. There is boat trips to Dubrovnic and islands nearby
