Very friendly people. Excellent spot for viewing Condors from the breakfast table Great hikes to do. Diner is amazing and the open fire is very pleasant. We love dogs and one of their dogs was walking with us for even 10 km

La Granja del Colca is the most unique hotel we have visited on our roadtrip trough Peru. It is literally located on the rim of Colca Canyon (count in a 10 minute drive in a dirt road after exiting the main road) with the most unique views from the living room and also your private room (if you book a room with view). The condors literally fly trough your garden when you stay here. Unforgettable! The facilities aren’t modern, but you will have everything you need: a clean room, a warm bed, a hot shower (if you give it some time) and a fresh breakfast. Also homemade meals are available at the fireplace by chef Huber. Very cosy during the cold dark nights! Walter and Christian are the most wonderful and caring hosts. They really love hospitality and their Colca Canyon. They are all about making you feel at home and giving you a unique impression of their country and it’s nature. Highly recommended to anyone who looks a one-of-a-kind stay!

The hotel in Cabanaconde is really great! The owner speaks very good English. He is willing to help you with anything. I needed a transfer to cusco with my bike and helped me to pack my bike and figured out what the best way for me is to come there . I also had an issue with my credid card and give me al the time to pay later. Thank you very much for your hospitality!!!

Katherine was very kind and accommodating! We had to cancel our visit because of health reasons and Katherine was extremely kind and understanding! We’re very disappointed we could not visit. The hotel looks absolutely beautiful and has amazing views, we had only heard great things. Hopefully we get a chance in the future to visit.

Perfect! Incredible place, extremely friendly people and wonderful food (better than Cusco, Arequipa and Puno for sure). Comfortable rooms, with several blankets, hot water. The only detail I would suggest would be something to prevent light from entering the room. I regretted staying just one night.

We spent one night there and everything went very well. The view is exceptional and the hotel is full of charm. We had dinner there with a very pleasant fireplace. It was a night a little out of time. Don't hesitate to stop there.

Excellent place to visit, located in a privileged location, the view is incredible, very good food, the staff that serves is very friendly and patient, we were around 13 people between adults and children, they treated us super well, I recommend it!

A hotel "lost in the middle of nowhere", 1 mk from the main road so very quiet Fantastic location, the dining room and some rooms overlook the canyon Extremely attentive hosts, and speak English First time we had polar fleece sheets and a kettle per person, the guarantee of not being cold in the middle of winter at almost 4000m altitude
