The hotel has a bit of faded grandeur. We loved it. We had not reserved dinner. The manager tried to book us into other local restaurants as they were fully booked. There were none available. He arranged a separate table in the breakfast room. His wife is the chef. We were treated to a fabulous meal, the very best of French cooking. The next morning with her daughter, the chef was in the kitchen garden picking vegetables. Manager / sommelier recommended various local wines which were superb. We followed by samples of Armagnac. He was a perfect blend of sommelier, maitre d, and host. Plumbing worked flawlessly, the shower was large, and comfortable. The bed was comfortable. We loved it so much we stayed a second night and enjoyed another superb dinner.

Charmant hôtel, dans la verdure, une très bonne table, ambiance cosy, service de qualité, professionnalisme, très bon accueil, courtoisie, conseils du "patron" et du personnel, bref, excellente adresse à découvrir . De belles assiettes présentées, commentées du contenu, papilles et pupilles en "effervescence" des mélanges subtiles en goût, par des herbes ou épices , épicuriens au rendez vous.

Notre avis serait globalement positif si une faute telle que j'ai perçue n'avais pas été commise par le personnel. 0 la fin du repas, le serveur propose un digestif (armagnac). Je refuse, et mon épouse accepte de goûter si possible un fond de verre juste pour connaître le goût. Ce que fit le serveur, c'est-à-dire, il verse un fond de verre juste pour permettre de goûter. Mon épouse goûte, mais trouve cela trop fort et n'en souhaite pas davantage. Lors du paiement, l'hôtesse me présente la facture sur laquelle apparaît un verre d'armagnac à 14€. J'exprime mon désaccord en fonction de ce qui est dit précédemment. Celle-ci va demander aux autorités et revient en me divisant la note par deux, soit 7€. J'accepte la finalité. Et aussitôt, la serveuse du petit déjeuner arrive et me rétorque que ma demande était exagérée, car la veille au repas, un verre entier m'avait été servi. D'abord d'où vient son jugement? était-elle présente lors du service du digestif? Non! Car le serveur a versé le fond d'armagnac à la table. J'ai maintenant ma version des faits, et cette serveuse du petit-déjeuner a insisté sur sa version. Je n'ai pas fait de scandale, mais je trouve son l'intervention déplacée et déplaisante.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce château dans le cadre d’une Wonderbox. L’hôtel, le spa, le restaurant, le petit déjeuner maison, nous avons apprécié la qualité des prestations et la gentillesse du personnel. Un établissement à la fois chic et chaleureux, une belle destination en couple ou en famille pour se ressourcer dans un cadre où la nature est magnifique.

Bel hôtel familial plein de charme situé dans un très beau parc. Chambre spatieuse avec une très bonne literie. Propriétaires et personnel très accueillant. Très bonne table et excellent petit déjeuner dans un très beau cadre.

Les années passent et j’ai toujours plaisir à revenir au Château Bellevue. Ici, on touche à l’hôtellerie très haut de gamme tout en restant accessible et simple. Le lieu et l’équipe est conviviale. Le centre spa avec piscine, sauna, soins est un endroit parfait pour se ressourcer. Le restaurant propose avec des produits locaux un petit déjeuné et des repas de qualité avec une vision gastronomique locale. La carte des vins et importante avec un travail de sélection par grandes appellations. Un grand bravo à l’équipe. Nous révisions encore !
