Gathering Place Resort & Lodge

We recently stayed at The Gathering Place for an entire week, as well as hosting our wedding on the grounds and it was everything we wanted it to be! The setting by the lake is serene and peaceful, with abundant wildlife that made every moment feel like an escape into nature. The cabin we stayed in had the most breathtaking views of both the sunrises and sunsets, creating a romantic atmosphere that was perfect for our special occasion. During our stay, we learned how to kayak on the lake, which was such a fun and memorable experience, and gave us a new active hobby to pursue! Deanna was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. She provided excellent recommendations for things to do in the area and truly went above and beyond to make our wedding and mini-honeymoon unforgettable. Her warmth and attention to detail made our entire week feel like a real vacation, If you're looking for a peaceful retreat or a unique wedding destination, I cannot recommend The Gathering enough. It’s the perfect place to relax, enjoy nature, and make lasting memories.

Great place for a long weekend. Prefect days sitting by the lake and lots of fun activities in the area. Just ask Deanna or Mike for information on what you want to to see and they will provide you lots of options. We wanted some time to relax and this was a perfect place for that. The cabin was clean and very comfortable. Cant wait to go back next year!
