This is a lovingly restored historic property with only five spacious suites, furnished in antiques. It is in the university district, a short walk to shopping and dining - check out Coupage 51, Tv. de Cedofeita 51, 4050-183 Porto, a tiny restaurant with a talented and creative chef just a couple of blocks away. Our hosts prepared an intricate breakfast of local specialties each morning and were most helpful and friendly.

If you are looking for an ordinary hotel where each room is an identical repeat of all the other rooms then do not stay here. This hotel is beautifully unique in every way. Its immaculate and a priveldge to stay in. Maria was just wonderful and looked after us completely. We had special treats each morning which we looked forward to very much., only made better by the lovely conversation with her and the love Claudia. Claudia, helped us to make our way around the city giving great advice and if there was something she didn't know she would find out for us. Our suite was huge and perfect and the house itself feels so special, it is a wonderful glimpse into another time. There are many lovely restaurants and bars just a few short minutes away. All in all a wonderful 5 night break in a special place. ❤️❤️
