Everything was excellent, the food delicious, and the staff was very kind and thoughtful. The young lady who wore a historical dress, possibly called Vanessa, was courteous, respectful, and made good feeleings and friendly.

The castle tour was pricey. The lady had no idea about the history of the castle and when I asked about something that wasn't in her guided tour, she didn't have the slightest idea. She spoke like a robot. Half of the castle grounds were closed due to a wedding. Even though we paid the entrance fee. Otherwise, the building is very nicely renovated, it's just a shame that we couldn't see the whole thing. The lady at the cashier was not willing to exchange the purchased unwrapped magnet for another one. Even though it's her duty

We spent a very happy weekend here. The room was beautiful with an astounding view of the castle. The staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable.

We liked its historical significance.
We were a bit disappointed when during the tour of the castle the visit of the Mucha-related rooms (the object of our main interest) was rushed and cut very short.

There wasen’t any hot water when we arrived in the evening. The staff told us it was because they were fully booked and the hot water has been used. We have never experienced this before at any place and the spa that we had also smelled really bad when we tried to use it. They didn’t compensate in any way. Can’t recomend the place, are not comming back.

This great looking castle was turned into what could have been a wonderful hotel. However, this great potential was ruined by a problematic internet, sloppy maintenance and average restaurant. The location is great, and the surrounding forest is very appealing for hiking or relaxed wakes. The rooms do not have wifi access, unless you ask for a router. Nowhere do they tell you about that-- you have to find out for yourself. The restaurant was average at best, and far below average at breakfast. The spa, which is well equipped, is poorly maintained (check the handset in the shower/Jacuzzi). For that price we expect better.
