Best Hotels near Parco Paleontologico di Cene, Cene

Stayed here for two nights. Had stayed before in the “old town” area of Bergamo which was lovely. This area would be considered “run down”. It’s a 5-10 minute walk to the main town for coffee shops, restaurants etc. Previous reviews commented how welcoming, friendly, helpful etc the reception staff were but I didn’t get that experience. Reception area is right inside the door so it can be crowded arriving and leaving with luggage, prams etc. Room was adequately spaced. Could have been given extra towels (three for a single room is basic), also needed a fridge and water glasses etc in the room. Floors could have been hoovered so make sure you wear slippers (not included in the room)! Didn’t include breakfast in my stay and glad I didn’t cos the selection looked limited. This hotel is fine for a short stay but perhaps look elsewhere if staying for longer.

This hotel are thieves, after booking me and my girlfriend to stay for three days (she’s not from Italy). when we presented at the Hotel Città Dei Mille for the check-in they told us that we need a “super green pass” (we’re vaccinated 2 doses and we had a negative PCR covid test) . They told us to access the Hotel Città Dei Mille you need to have the third dose, but the Hotel Città Dei Mille didn’t tell us this before coming neither the booking website it wasn’t written anywhere we checked many times in front of them. so we looked for another place to stay, when we asked for a reimbursement the Hotel Città Dei Mille said they don’t reimburse FOR NON PRESENTATION. Shame on you Hotel Città Dei Mille Bergamo Lombardia Italia, this not a good customer service at all if you have economic problems don’t take it from your client’s pocket. The reimbursement amount we asked for was just 200€ Have a nice day

The worst hotels I have ever found in my life, not so much for the look, but for staff and management. We book for Easter 3 rooms of which 2 triple plus 3 culles and 1 single with dinner included, we arrive in the morning where a boy at the reception confirms that dinner was there despite all the scripts that Sunday was closed. At 19:00 we go down for dinner and nobody considers us, we wait almost 40 minutes and decide to address the girl in the reception who tells us that the restaurant is closed and that he couldn't give us anything because he had a broken machine, It's 20 minutes, the time we're looking for a Pascua restaurant for 11 people, the girl comes back and tells us that we could have dinned with appetites!?????!? With three children under two years I don't think I agree. We sleep in 4 beds in a double bed because the cock was not given us, a hell night, a ****** absurd. We went to breakfast in the morning where a family unknown to us complained because at 1 p.m. they were forced to change not one but two rooms. We are very unhappy and we ask for a refund, a refund refused by the holder with so many lies reported in a written mail. We were even accused of having enjoyed a bottle of unpaid water, I wonder where I could have taken it, because the refrigerator bar was not present in the rooms, and we were told that we were injured during breakfast, But we were not. Good points - communal areas clean and tidy. Vitoria on reception nice. Large bedroom looked like it was recently Decorated. Big bed and soft pillows. Enough electric sockets. Good shower. Soundproof, although there's always someone who has to slam their door. Breakfast good. All the usual. Bread, ham, cheese, yoghurt, fruit eggs etc. Bit manic at times. Bad points. Bedroom wasn't cleaned and bed wasn't made one day. Another day we weren't left with a spare toilet roll. Our towels were never folded and just left in a heap on the rail. Never given any milk in room for coffee. We haf a shared balcony, but if we went on it, you could see staight into another bedroom, on the corner. Thick slimy brown muck at bottom of shower. It was never clear off in the 9 nights we were there. Without effort, I cleared a bit off with a tissue. It was disgusting. Area is good and not run down considering its by the station

I was in this building for only one night, but we were very good. The rooms are clean and suitable, and the breakfast, international and Italian, is good and abundant. The structure is new and there is a gym and a restaurant (which we have not experienced, so I can't evaluate). A tip: I think the bar is better provided inside, we thought we had a snack but there was little variety. Since there are not many bars nearby, it would be nice to have this opportunity in the hotel

Breakfast: It is recommended to plan for breakfast at a different location, as the QC Room only offers a small packaged cookie and coffee for breakfast. Check-out: Checking out is easy. Simply let the person working in the front lobby know when you are ready to leave. Getting to the spa: The walk to the spa is a short walk however down the ramp through the parking lot.
