Ibis Styles Ljubljana Centre Reviews

The location is good and walking distance to old town. We need to catch an early bus and the receptionist packed our breakfast and gave us upon checkout.

We stayed at ibis Styles Ljubljana Centre for 2 nights and really enjoyed our experience. The location is excellent—just a short walk from the old town, restaurants, and shops, but still tucked away enough to feel quiet and relaxed. The room was clean, modern, and well-designed, with fun, quirky decor that gave it character. Also bed is comfortable. There is free water filling at lobby (7th floor). The staff were helpful and welcoming throughout our stay, always happy to answer questions or help with directions.

The parking near the hotel is quite expensive: €30 for 24 hours, while the hourly rate is €2.60.

Hotel room is poorly maintained. Dirty floor and infested with ants that crawls all over the place and even in the bed. We got bitten every night when we sleep. Room also doesn’t have kettle so no hot water unless you pick it up at the reception which is a hassle.

Simple fuss free hotel. Good use of space. There's some facilities available which I didn't use. Good for 1 night stay near town and bus.

castle can be viewed from rooftop bar but staff on duty at night has really bad attitude.

I recently stayed at Ibis Styles Ljubljana Centre and overall had a very good experience. The room was clean, spacious, and well-designed, offering great comfort. The location is excellent—just a 5-minute walk to the city centre, with easy access to attractions, restaurants, and shops. I also felt very safe, as the hotel is located directly opposite a police station. However, there are a few areas that could be improved. The pillows were not very comfortable and should be replaced for better sleep quality. The toilet area had a noticeable smell, likely due to a lack of deep cleaning, and would benefit from detergent-based cleaning. Another inconvenience is the step at the reception, which makes it difficult to move luggage—especially when arriving or checking out. Having to lift heavy suitcases up and down the step is not ideal. Despite these issues, the hotel still offers great value and comfort.

Got a room which is great and silent. The only problem is that the room is kinda plain and cold. No free water. A lil bit confusing about the checking in counter. But overall it was great.

Classic Ibis hotel near old town Ljubljana. It’s not bad but it’s not great either. Cleaning started really early (around 8.30am). It’s definitely not worth the price but if you just need somewhere for a couple of nights it’s fine.

Pretty good location and friendly staff. Room was also quite nice and spacious.

Hotel was not far from Christmas markets and the bus station. The front desk girls Maya and I think her name is Lilly, where very hell and pleasant.

All we really great, expect the pillow was really not confortable . Apart from this, the staff were nice and they accommodated things to our schedule, and the location is amazing
