It’s an old place. They don’t lock the out side doors at night. Breakfast is very small. Coffee is cold. But it’s the only place in town so you get what you get.

My stay was good and the room was nice.
I had arranged a two night stay on line with Trip Adviser. I arrived at the hotel at around 1:50 PM a little more than an 1 hour early and was advised that if I wanted to check in then I would have to agree to pay an additional $10 fee for an early check in. I was drop dead tired and needing to use a bathroom in private. So I agreed. I don’t think this was a very good customer service to someone that had stayed there before and I work for a foundation that was in town to test elementary schools in 2 local school districts in the area.

The room was meager but ok. Pillows were lumpy or too hard. Inconvenience of having to go through lobby to open door. Breakfast was pitiful.

Using *******, I was u aware my room is assigned by them. I requested a downstairs room with outside entrance. No, it was pre assigned a room on the 2nd floor. I did finally end up with a ground floor room.
Then, ice machine is out of order! I paid extra for two queen beds rather than just getting a king bed. Then they said my 13 yr old granddaughter would be an extra charge.
Rooms are nice and comfy. Quiet for the most part. Some truck traffic but not bad.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfy. The breakfast was good. The shower did not work- you only got hot or cold water, nothing in between. Everything else was great.

The property was satisfactory. The front desk was very helpful. However the owner charged us extra for checking in early which no other hotel has done. We’re riding our tandem bicycle across the country and frequently get to places early trying to beat the heat of the day. Also, ice machine out of order

The hotel was fairly clean. Older condition with minimal upgrade. However, the room had a very foul odor which made our stay unpleasant.

There was a mix up with ******* as I had entered that I had a 1.5 year old with 2 adult. I booked a few weeks out as it was the weekend of the state fair & nothing in grand Island was available. When we arrived at the hotel the desk clerk told us there wasn't a child in our reservation & we'd need to call *******. We went outside & I honestly had no idea what to do as we just drove 8 hours & everywhere else within 60 miles was completely full. The guy came out after talking with our manager & told us they'd let us stay. He completely empathized with us & saved us from probably sleeping in our car. At checkout there was a different gentleman but he was also incredibly nice & I will absolutely be staying here again as long as they have a room. It's not fancy but the small town hospitality was so present & by far the best hotel visit I've ever had in my life in the short 13 hours we were there. Cute and cozy.
