Mövenpick Hotel Jakarta City Centre

I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately left feeling quite disappointed. The room was fairly average and didn’t feel very well maintained. The bathroom, in particular, was not very clean, which affected the overall comfort of the stay. The breakfast itself was good in terms of taste and variety. However, the service during breakfast was underwhelming. Most of the staff seemed unenthusiastic and the service felt quite mediocre. The only exception was the supervisor, who was attentive and treated us very well. W genuinely appreciated that. Overall, while there were a few positives, the cleanliness and service did not meet expectations. I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

The hotel opened in 2024 and is positioned as an upper-upscale brand. The facilities are very new, and the interior design follows a modern style. Bonus point: it is within walking distance of Jakarta’s major landmarks— Istiqlal Mosque, and the Jakarta Cathedral. It is a great choice for leisure travel, business trips, or everyday stays.

Excellent stay. Clean hotel. There's free chocolate buffet. Location good. There's a 24/7 Indomart opposite hotel. Security was tight. Definitely recommended staying in this hotel

This hotel has excellent customer service from the receptionist that I like to comment Chatarina who pays attention to the small detail as my colleague arriving very late at night, ensuring their check in is seamless one. I love the food variety for morning breakfast which is intercontinental style. The food is excellent. The Italian restaurant serves very on point for the pasta and the ambience is nice to relax. The cafe serves great Jakarta coffee. I will definitely comeback to stay in this hotel again

I love the chocolate hours. I tried my very best to be back at hotel before 5pm so that I could enjoy different kinds of sweets for afternoon tea.
