I stayed at The Hermitage, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, Jakarta for 3 nights from 30 Dec 2025 to 2 Jan 2026, and it was a wonderful experience overall. The hotel has a beautiful colonial charm, blending historic architecture with modern comfort. The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with a very comfortable bed that made it easy to rest after a long day in the city. Housekeeping was consistent and attentive throughout my stay. The staff were warm, professional, and helpful, always ready to assist with requests and making guests feel genuinely welcomed. Check-in and check-out were smooth, even during the busy New Year period. One highlight was the rooftop area, which offers a relaxing atmosphere and a great view of Jakarta. Breakfast was enjoyable with a good variety of options, and the quality of food met expectations for a hotel of this standard. The location is also convenient, providing relatively easy access to key areas of Jakarta while still offering a calm and elegant environment away from the city’s bustle. Overall, The Hermitage offers a unique, comfortable, and memorable stay. I would definitely recommend it to travelers looking for a hotel with character, excellent service, and a refined atmosphere, and I would happily stay here again.

Fabulous - 2nd time here and can't fault them! We were wayyy early and they accommodated us, letting us in 2-3 hours early, cake on arrival, lovely room (spacious with a great free standibg bath on the old balcony) and food was great! We had access to the exec lounge which as before was a nice touch (we booked a junior suite). Breakfast is great with soo much choice and the swimming pool, whilst not great for sitting in the sun, is lovely and the rooftop has a great view. We'll be back another year 😎

Walking distance to Jalan Surabaya antique market. The hotel is so classic and beautiful, and the service is very welcoming. I would love to come back again.

Lovely hotel with old world Victorian charm code to city centre and all attraction in Jakarta. Staff is extremely cordial. Rooms are classy. There is a rooftop swimming pool and restaurant, and the icing on the cake was the live performance by a band which we were fortunate to catch on the Saturday evening, a day prior to our departure. Go for it.

hotel’s service us still top notch, however maintenance needs a bit of work. have been staying at this property for multiple times, however this time, the property is showing signs of wear, with the hot water lukewarm at best sometimes during the day. overall still a good and comfy stay

Beautiful place Old building type of vibe with 5 star amenities and service. Will definitely come again. Breakfast was 4/5 for a 5star hotel.

Lovely heritage hotel in close to central location. Staff still needs lots to learn. All young and eager but lacking experience for Marriott branded/ priced hotel. Where is management to train and develop?

I’ve stayed here before, but that didn’t matter to the hotel. My flight was cancelled and they refused to change my booking date. No flexibility, no effort to help. Another hotel offered me 90 days to rebook — that’s real service. Disappointing experience.

A decent local hotel. The large bathtub 🛁 in the room was a nice touch, and the view from the window was quite good. The swimming pool was also very beautiful.

Beautiful old building and environment. The breakfast is excellent with a mix of buffet + a la carte options.

It is a small & cozy hotel. Breakfast is good. All the staff are friendly & helpful. However the pool & gym are a bit small. The location is within a residential area, going to the CBD by Grab is only a few minutes. Walking to the Cikini station is 5-10 mins, with some restaurants & coffee shops nearby.

Beautiful hotel in an old Dutch government building. Quite luxurious. Rooms are beautiful. Breakfast is good and has interesting variety and we had a lovely meal at the restaurant- beautifully prepared.
