KHAS Semarang Hotel

Value for money. The front desk staff are efficient and responsive. They responded immediately when we requested for a room change because the room allocated to us initially was just next to the lift. We were given another room at the far most end which was quiet enough for a good night's sleep. The beds are slightly smaller than the other hotel beds which we have been to. And just like some other hotels in Java, we need to request for a hairdryer from the front desk. The breakfast food choices were excellent and we enjoyed the different local Javanese food for two mornings. The hotel's spa-massage service was also good and you'll need to book early for the session. Thank you.

room always clean and spacious. staffs always attends to the guests needs immediately. the pool was quite small so i didn’t end up using it. sometimes room service food needs a little more seasoning. otherwise, good location

This was my first time staying at Khas Semarang. I arrived around 12 pm and the hotel was very crowded because there was an event that day. The staff told me check-in was only at 2 pm, which is fine, but the problem was there were basically no seats available in the lobby to wait. They suggested I sit in the restaurant instead. Honestly that felt a bit strange since it’s Ramadan and people are fasting. Anyway, as a local I didn’t really mind, so I just went to Paragon Mall which is about 10 minutes away to kill some time. The room itself was quite clean and had all the basic amenities, so no issue there. For sahur, I requested breakfast to be delivered at 3 am. It only arrived around 3:30 am. When I asked the staff why it was late, they said they had to deliver to more than 20 rooms first. That made me wonder why they don’t just open a simple sahur buffet to make things easier for everyone. The soto was actually nice, but unfortunately it was already cold by the time it arrived. Food overall was decent. One thing I like about this hotel is the location. There are quite a few nice cafés around and many of them are open 24 hours, so it’s easy to find somewhere to hang out late at night if you want.

The room is clean and the location is also in the middle of the city, lots of food and near to malls and old city

My honest take, the hotel was very homey vibes and I like the hospitality there. Very warm welcome, nice services, and great communication. They handle my complaints very well haha. The view is kinda nice, since I was on the 5th floor. Very clean room, sheets, etc. I stay for 3 nights and it was really a pleasant experience to stay there.  Lots of cafe, restaurants, and other good places for a quick hang out not far from the hotel.
