Best Western Cesena Hotel

Best Western Cesena Hotel

📍 Via Rosoleto, 607, Cesena
★★★ 8.5 (35 reviews)

"Passing through Cesena, we chose this property for its convenient location, easily accessible by car. The room was a bit run-down, with rust in the shower stall. The breakfast room staff, particularly a very rude lady with reddish hair, positioned themselves so as to observe us while we were eating breakfast. My wife was about to eat some small sandwiches with cheese when this person approached in an extremely rude manner, stating that nothing could be taken from the room (two small sandwiches with two slices of cheese). My wife stated that she would eat them there and had no intention of taking anything away, but the lady continued to hover near us and insolently observed our every move, so much so that we stopped eating what was on the table. To anyone who responds to this review, I want to point out that the two small sandwiches were left on the plate and not taken away, as stated in a response to another review."

"First we had suite 214, but as there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke in the room, I've requested another one. The lady at the front desk was a little surprised and told me that the whole hotel is non-smoking, so the guest last night must have smoked in the room. Nevertheless, she gave me the suite next door, suite 215, which smelled OK. Next morning we've seen. that the smelly room was being cleaned. Common areas and both rooms we've seen looked stylish and new, everything we've tried was in perfect working order. Suite 215 was huge. The bedroom had a king-sized bed, the living area had a sofa, a dining table and a TV. There was a full kitchen, which we didn't use. The bathroom was also quite large, modern and clean (as was the rest of the suite). There was free wi-fi service in the room and it worked nicely. The breakfast, included in our rate, was OK, comparable to other hotels in Italy, we've experienced, with a selection of cold cuts (incl. proscutto crudo), cheeses, bakery products, yoghurt, fruit, cold and hot bewerages. Nothing special, but everything we needed for a good start into the day. We were there on a Saturday night and Sunday morning breakfast started at 8am, which we found a little late, as did a few other guests."

"Hotel with self-check in the outskirts of Cesena; spacious, clean and functional room. There is no lift to bring all the baggage with warm to the room is rather difficult (there is no private parking but the parking station is used in the immediate vicinity). "

Hotel Romagna

📍 Via Zuccherificio, 215, Cesena
★★★ 7.4 (3 reviews)

"Certainly good value for money. Brand new mattress, made of high density foam, hence very rigid. Short walking distance to city. Centre."

Hotel Casali

Hotel Casali

📍 Via Benedetto Croce, 81, Cesena
★★★★ 8.4 (8 reviews)

"An increasingly common hotel experience. Really poor. Years of underinvestment. No international channels on tv. No options to load any platforms (Netflix etc). Tired, old tv sets with remotes whose batteries are flat and unchecked. Shockingly, and, in 2025, unforgiveably, faulty WIFI. Intermittent, weak signal. The worst face of italian provincial hotels."

"The room was not clean and we could hear the guests from the neighbour room talking at night. The paint was peeling off from the walls in the bathroom."

"We stayed in this building during a quiet trip, a comfortable and very clean room, though a little.... In the hall on the top you can consume by leaving the reward in the room in the morning and I found it very comfortable.... It would deserve 5 stars if it wasn't for bad sound insonorization..."

"I don't think I've ever seen a 3-star hostel-style hotel! I'll start by saying that one night seemed like 2! We arrived, the entrance was a bit shabby, different from the photos! A very kind girl welcomed us, gave us the keys, registered and paid! We went up, I opened the room and I was shocked! The wall behind the headboard was made of brownish fabric with dust and cobwebs hanging down! It was small, with broken furniture and bedposts with no covers, filthy to say the least! The bathroom was a bit shabby but oh well! We decided to ask for a room change! He asked me for €15 more without hesitation, it's not worth €70, let alone €85! However, because I was tired, I said ok, as long as he gave me a better room, thanks! 3rd floor, we opened the right room with a balcony, the bathroom was always filthy, the furniture was filthy, the posts were filthy! Dirty and old carpeting throughout the hotel! Shared coffee machine and free 2 coffee pods and a small bottle of water! Signs like "No smoking" with furniture burned by cigarettes! Well, we slept! At 5, I woke up to the chaos on the street that was starting to increase! We woke up and I noticed the hygiene of the room, dirty doors, bathroom as well! We went downstairs to leave and I said goodbye to another girl who kept telling me, "This hotel has 3 stars, yes, the furniture has been renovated!" A hotel that doesn't deserve 3 stars! I can confirm this because the next evening we stayed for €65 a few kilometers away in a beautiful, well-kept, clean place with nothing broken."
